I was always a Ford truck guy. Last October my 2014 F250 diesel work truck transmission started slipping and my company didn't want to put $8,000 into a truck with 290k miles on it. They had me rent a 2022 4-door F250 4x4 diesel and I actually did not like it for the work I do at all. I work as an electrician for a mining company. The 10 speed transmission is just to much over the top honestly and it's a very stiff ride. My new truck arrived in February, a 2022 -door Ram 2500 4x4 service body truck. The 8 speed transmission works better for what I do, not so much torque at low speeds, it's so much more comfortable a ride also and the Ram has a ton more storage space inside than the Ford. If I were towing constantly no doubt the Ford would be superior, but not towing at all, the Ram is far superior as a work truck for me.

My costumers are concerned that bad people will use a remote control car to break into their houses.

Makes sense. The metal affects the magnetic field it monitors. It is adjustable we think.

That’s an issue many of my customers have as well. We install an on/off switch so they can deactivate the sensor while their horses are in that area.

My steel toe work boots trigger it. Also there is nothing in the documentation to say if it is supposed to trigger on detect or once the vehicle leaves the detection area. If the latter I have royally stuffed this job up that I am at.
