What is the square tenon chisel that you use to mark the square dowels for the lid? I haven't been able to find anything like it. Love this build and plan to use it as a model for a tea box I am going to make for my sister in law. Nice work!

Absolutely gorgeous build. Love the style and creativity that went into this. Just got a set of imperial Narex chisels for Xmas, something similar to this is on my build radar now, thanks and keep up the excellent work!

Yes. You can be proud of that beauty! And those veritas pm-v11 chisels are my favorite. Great job 👏🏻

Wonderful design ideas. Love the use of Wenge on the flame maple as accents and reinforcers for the joints. The magnets hidden under the Wenge pieces is also very clever. Thanks for the inspiration.

Hi there! Mind if I ask what was the distance between centers of holes you drill for the chisel handles? I mean, you can "move" chisels closer to each other, but you need to be able to grab one..

That's not a tool box it's a show peace don't kid yourself because the only way that could be used as a tool box is if don't really move/need it in the first place and yes I went to college, granted a proper latch and foam in the lid could make it a ugly working peace

A perfect job, I love the box, and the idea, I will also try to make a box for my chisels. You can see the love you have for some of your tools. By the way, which chisels are you using? I like its design, I would like to see the brand. Thank you.

Lovely build, wonderful craftsmanship. I've had something similar in mind. Think I might do a dovetail box and make the chisel tray so that it is either removable so it can be brought to my bench or rotate with perhaps a wooden hinge around the bottom so that the tray stands up at an angle. Really inspiring work (I too found the music a distraction, but from reading the comments you've had plenty of that feedback!). Thanks for uploading & look forward to the next one.
