Jokes aside, it would've been really obvious. Since Naomi Misora's name wasn't made public, the fact that she got killed would imply that she came in contact with Kira and shared something with him that he wouldn't want revealed. She wouldn't share it with anyone who she didn't trust, so that person likely also claimed to be a member of the task force or related to them. And that could've been easily traced back. Even if it's not 'definitive' it would pretty much make him the prime suspect from the start.
