Im going to buy a AT ,in the research stage right now. Im not to sure about the DCT, life long motorcyclist here. Im curious about how to use the friction zone of slow maneuvering a motorcycle,with no clutch. But i am willing to give it a try. Thanks for the great review. Im going to find a dealer that does demo rides, and try one out.

Great filming. I couldn't agree more have spent over 25yrs on bikes.. mostly big road bikes over 1000cc and I will NEVER sit behind anything that even looks dodgy or dangerous.. pass everything on the road safely.. power over comes all. Except grip. Stay away from traffi🙏

The mx boots might not be waterproof, as in they have no label or cert that states that, but I can say that my tech3s (with pants falling over the boot) always stayed dry in the rain. YMMV ofc

A "whimsical collection"? That is so much better. It is a whimsical collection of "moto" movies some of which have nothing to do with motorcycles. I should start making whimsical collections of everything.

There are “t-shirt” styled padding providers but I don’t know that they are the sort of thing I’d want to use riding the street. This one absolutely would be noticeable walking around off the bike. It is a lot of padding and large plastic pieces. You look a little like The Hulk in it minus the green.

Left out my favorite biker movie 'Then Came Bronson' Yes, I know it was a pilot for the TV series But, unlike 'Easy Rider' It was honest, clean (except for brief breast nudity), And featured a troubled biker trying to make sense of life While traveling across country on his Sportster. Parks rendition of 'Wayfaring Stranger' with Bonnie was great Even better than his solo effort. I'd rate this pilot/movie 10/10. Unfortunately, the TV series was only a 2/10 and was cancelled.

Oh man…that’s going to be the tough part. I don’t know if you’ll be able to find this color as o think it’s been out of production for a bunch of years now. If I could make one suggestion, give scorpion a call or send them an email because their customer service is outstanding. If they can find one for you, they will but I don’t know if I’d get my hopes too high unless you want to try the used helmet market…yikes. Good luck.

First time viewer . This vid is a bit too woke , in my opinion ... letting feelings over ride facts . Stone is a motorcycle movie . Mad Max (original) also has alot of bike action . Cheers mate
@BeGoneForGood2 ай бұрын
Barry, I’ve been called a lot of things, especially since starting this channel but “woke” has never been one of them. Hahaha. I totally agree though, I had seen a ton of lists that had mentioned ACTUAL moto-movies and I didn’t want to do another one like that. My goal was to tell about all the movies that made me want to ride so sometimes it was just about fun or adventure or doing the thing that really motivates you. I’ll grant you that les to some pretty squishy inclusions when it comes to onscreen motorcycles but it was in an effort to create a video with a different edge.
So the way this is built the tent itself IS the rain fly while the sleeping area is suspended inside. Unlike a traditional tent, like your thinking where the structure domes from the sleeping compartment and then a fly is draped over that, this does the opposite. The shell IS the structure. This means you cannot pitch this tent without the fly but you could, I guess pitch the fly without the inner mesh sleeping compartment.

Yeh, it is pretty unnecessary but I’ll tell you, having a garage that big is really nice for a lot of other things. Especially when you are staying for multiple days or run into really nasty weather. As far as bike worthy, that seems kinda silly but still useful is some extreme cases.

You really should showcase your bike and setup in the beginning and then do the ride and at the end let us know everything worked out, good or bad! Anyone can ride around and record trees and dirt roads. I want to know what will work to do what you did because I want to give it a try! I am using your channel for the information and not just an armchair dream. P.S. I did like and subscribe! Thanks.

I get what you’re saying but I’ll tell you that when I released this video there were NO videos of riding around in 360 degree capture. I have videos on the channel about my bike setup and what I carry but this was the very first where you could look all around while I was riding to view any and every angle you wanted. I don’t know how you watched the video the first time but I’d suggest a rewatch on your phone so you can move around and see different stuff and for a real treat, check it out in a VR headset. It’s unreal.

well that was an informative presentation, which i enjoyed watching, the only mode that i have made on the CFR1000l is i reduced the front wheel to a 19 inch and the rear wheel to a 17inch but kept the stock rear sprocket, it does bring the revs up a bit , but i have tubeless tires fitted, as i was out on a run to Stonehenge and i had a blowout on the front tire, which kind of ruined my day out. but the bike is a joy to ride. yours kevin

Thanks Kevin. That is some pretty cool modifications. I have been super lucky to never have dealt with a flat out on the road but I can imagine that being the sort of thing that would bring about some changes. Recap: It is heavy, if you fall you have to lift it, but if you don't fall, all is good. It is too powerful / it is not powerful enough. It is high, or low, depending on your own height. It doesn't have many extras, but you can pay for them as extras. It is cheap and expensive... Dude, you said one thing and the opposite every time hahahahahahahahahaha.
@BeGoneForGood4 ай бұрын
That seems to be very true. It’s almost as though every bike is going to be different for every rider and this would serve simply as some things to consider when evaluating a big bike. There is no getting around some of the limitations we have physically and mentally when it comes to our choice of ride. It’s best to recognize where your lane is when choosing the path we want to take.
