Meanwhile many people buy fancy bass guitars with 6 or 7 strings now but they cant even play one with as much musicality as this!

This is amazing music. Mr. Nali's so creative with his vocals, percussion and his Babatoni version of the ancient West African Diddley Bow. And this has the added benefit of showing us the origins of bottleneck Blues guitar style. If he were to slide that bottle into the note he wants, by touching the string below that note and sliding the bottle up into the exact note... that's bottleneck Blues style like Robert Johnson, Jesse Ed Davis, and Duane Allman played. In all fairness, bottleneck style guitar may also have a second, independent origin in the Pacific Islands. However Africans brought their folk music to North America long before our continent was visited by Pacific Islanders.

I personally LOVE my Dynaudio, even for listening to music. I heard them over 20 years ago in a store and was just blown back how great and detailed they sounded. Since I had my own and I will stay with them for sure.

Should have wrapped the mineral wool in plastic due to potential floating micro particals (floating in your lung)! And, no, the bass trap effect would not be reduced, because of the plastic.

Sir, I apploud you. Im looking for making several acoustic panels for my streaming studio and it never crossed my mind to just get some old “free” furniture from Facebook market to stuff it with insulation. Thank you so much for the idea!

Not enough; missing the airgap behind, doesn't cost anything and also just the corners isn't enough impact in most rooms, don't forget the ceiling corners! The mineral/glass wool used is perfect, not to dense.

I'd love to mic the instrument through a dirty amp rig with at least 2 x monitors

Amazing I'm literally starting to prepare doing that. I'm wondering, though, finnsby's seem to be 9 inch thick. Isn't this too much for a bass trap? or is it ok?
@Angellus5026 ай бұрын
more is better for below 200hz. the same distance air gap behind doubles performance if you have a faberic back

I had HS8's for years to replace Dynaudio BM5's, and they were great. Ive since upgraded to Adam A77X which are a big upgrade, but I would like some dyn's again as a 2nd reference (or maybe some cheap HS7's). Im not a reggae fan as such, but i loved that track!

I'm between gettin a pair of these Dynaudio BM6A or go for the IK Multimedia iLoud MTM, which one you recommend? The BM6A are second hand and really cheap is there something to concern about these monitors?
