Very interesting. I thought it was less obvious. In my view the tanker was always recognizable. The deck officer of the frigate made a bad impression. His radio calls did not sound like a navy officer in charge of a frigate, more like a trainee.

I would have thought that Arlington could have provided Active Duty Marines for this funeral. It was far too obvious that the Marines in this entourage were Reservists who had not seen an exercise program since graduating Boot Camp. As an Inactive Marine I am ashamed of the showing that was given a fine, and much respected United States Marine. And if you don't like what I've said; too fucking bad. I'm a Marine, and you can shove your opinion.

I was on her for the 2001-2002 for the beginning of Anaconda and OEF. Been on many LHAs and LHDs, the BHR was like home. Even as a Marine, I was treated like family. Got my Golden Shellback there too. 😊
