Phones can turn into lethal projectiles. In all of these instances they could have hurt or even killed someone. The fact that there can even be a 2 minute compilation of recorded and uploaded phone incidents is horrifying. Thank you for uploading I will use this video to warn my friends about the dangers of taking loose items on roller coasters or flat rides

fun fact: German tv show "Wetten Dass...?" once had a game where one guy sitting in the front of the train throws a phone in the air and one guy in the back has to catch at least 5 of them, while on airtime hills. Did that on Silverstar at Europapark.

1:21 That's at Canada's Wonderland I wasn't on the rollercoaster when it happened.But I did see the phone drop into the lake that had me laughing. After the ride was over. The workers tried looking for the phone but they didn't know it fell in the pond. The ride was shut down 42 hours because of that

This is why I don’t take my phone on any rides! I have them in my Fanny pack and I make sure it’s tight but if I were to go on a real upside down roller coaster I leave it in the lockers but I never been on one but one day maybe but without my phone 😂

CP today * hires bottom of barrel manufacturer and dragster is down for at least 3 weeks now because they need to reengineer parts of the wheel on the train * CP back then * hires expensive but worth while manufacturer who reengineers part of the track in 4 days and still opens in time * 🤦‍♂️

As I said in the video, Maverick did not open on time, it opened 2 weeks late, and it has also had significant downtime throughout it’s lifetime, Top Thrill 2 actually opened on time, and we should give it a break as it’s a prototype.
