The atmosphere is not ripping it apart it's the earth Roche limit plus the earth's atmosphere can only go upto 6,214 miles and the earth's Roche limit height is 11,470 miles so that means it's not the Earth's atmosphere tearing it up.

Actually earth would more likely end up freezing without trees instead of burning, without an atmosphere the blue glow would be gone and the world would be more effected by solar radiation causing things to catch fire, a world without humans and electricity is the best version of earth, but one day out mistakes will catch up with us, they always do.
