I like the caravans but I have 2 questions. with our british weather not being like Turkey being sometimes wet and cold how do you heat these caravans ? as there doesn't seam like any heating ie blown heating ? again with british weather can a tv set up be added as no 1 can miss Strictly ?

I want one now! BUT how do I buy one for me in the USA ? . I am an RV tech. and I like what I see BUT no hot water tank ? NO cold showers for me ! But I really like the foam filled dual-walls and double pane widows = no noise passes in either direction which offers better sleeping and can play rather loud music inside BUT can Turkey make enough to fill most orders ? How long does it take for an order to be filled/made ? PLEASE RESPOND TO MY QUESTIONS. Thank you. And I could sell a lot of them here in USA if they can pass USA Standards of Safety, etc.

Well, I love it. It' deluxe glamping and I'm okay with that. If your budget is limited, there are other options from the Capsule to second hand. But if you have the money to tug this behind your Defender to the festival, good luck to you.

I like the rear beds but hubby doesn’t like the idea of traipsing through the van when packing and then wanting stuff from under the bed. It’s a shame Caravan manufacturers don’t put a rear door opening in the back of the van. Might be an idea?

1 gas cooker is fine, for me its not for cooking. Its for the sound and smell when cooking water to coffe. Sit and enjoy that is the best I know whit camping. When I was young I lived in a Sprite 400. 😊

What?!!! Did I see £16,900? Utter madness. You can buy a bigger, better specified slightly used caravan for almost a sixth of the cost. The market is flooded with good quality used vans. Only the mad would buy this brand new. The moment you buy it the depreciation will be huge.

What if people don’t want a bigger caravan? What if people have a small car or an EV that can’t tow more than 750kgs? What if people want a simple rugged caravan that’s made entirely of fibreglass and can’t suffer from damp issues?

Very Porsche form and function in perfect Balance. Porsche are a design and engineering company foremost. I tow a twin axle with a 1996 Range Rover 4.6 Overfinch on air suspension and with modern shocks have no issues with control or keeping the suspension level. I do however lock the suspension at the correct ride height once level. I do think land Rovers tow assist on modern Range Rovers is excellent. Sadly both Porsche and Range Rover depreciate rapidly but make great used buys.

Thanks for the comment. Yes, the new Land Rover’s towing capabilities are amazing. It can even measure the noseweight from the towball! Sounds like your Range Rover is quite the beast. I used to have a P38 model but it was the 4.0. It was a beast of a car for sure.

They don't have a combined value of over £170k. They have a combined price of £170k. As soon as you drive the car off the showroom floor and hitch the caravan to it they both drop in value, considerably. Great review though. I could never afford these, reduced second-hand price or not so this is the only chance I'll ever get to experience them.

The handbrake is actually much better as it is an over-centre one, meaning that it will always be fully engaged. This has been a standard on livestock trailers for at least 20 years and even my small box van trailer has it. Knott (predominantly the running gear used on commercial and livestock trailers) are the reason. Al-Ko are late to the party and the caravan manufacturers clearly had far too many in stock as the standard handbrake system stopped production a long time ago.

Thanks for your input - I’d not considered this but you’re exactly right. I just don’t think those ones on a Knott chassis are as ferocious as this Alko one. When the brake shoes sit slightly back from reversing onto the pitch, the handbrake will go up to almost 90 degrees. I agree it’s a great safety feature that it engages so easily.
