For the win4, games work amazing, I barely have to touch the settings. But for certain games, playing with the spu thread, changing to 3to4, this game, I build up the shader cache in the city, close rpcs3, open the game again, and everything worked great. First level, pretty much the same process, just move the camera around to build the shader for the level

I haven't played this in a while, but my saves worked, the game wasn't in English tho

if you can dump your dlc file, it works on rpcs3, google will give you the steps(easy steps). There's more characters with the first dlc pack

@@kingk0bra896 So firstly this is played on Steam Deck with Steam OS, the specs should be online. I have tried clicking write color buffers but it still happens where I get a colorful mess on the latest RPCS3 and a crash whenever I go to buy a character. Further help is appreciated!

@@christophergravelle885 okay the steam deck, the deck try playing with the spu tread 3-4 should be good and in the gpu tab, check to make sure the resolution scale threshold isn't above 55x55, on the deck i personally leave it at default with this game, also try Asynchronous texture streaming option(alone) and then with write color buffers

​@@kingk0bra896 So i tried that out but it's still a colorful mess when trying to play the game. the intro and main menu is fine until i press any button while at the main menu, any other suggestions? Edit: clean install of emu + redownloaded rom made it work normally!

Are you getting it mainly for the deck? Because it works perfect with a i5 laptop(the Gpd win 3) can run this. So don't buy it just for the deck because it'll ruin your experience with the game, the game is amazing, you want to be able to enjoy the graphics in all, I recommend the game for anything else but the Steam deck and I love the steam deck

For the deck, force the resolution to 1280x780, if not, it'll glitch, I had that problem, graphics can be set to max, for the controls (enable controller support) right side(controller icon) sorry the late response

I used to write color buffers, picked an arena I haven't tried, let the shader cache build, reset the game, arena and everything in it, should appear normal, my cars were pitch black, then I used the method above, game works great, specs ryzen 5

@@kingk0bra896 i tried that but there’s still some issues with it. like when i make a car and use it in a race you can only see some of it depending on the angle, and the rest is black. inside line is perfect though so idk

I never had the problem with the paint booth, only black cars and black road, fixed that by building shader cache and write color buffers

When you got your game file, just drag the game into rpcs3, adjust the settings to your pc specs

your 100% right, the EA games back then were focused on gameplay and making the experience fun, hopefully they go back to that

as long as your playing on a stage where you build the shader cache up, you wont crash. I played vs mode with each level, build the cache up and i hav'nt crashed yet, even in story mode, also if you have vibrate on, turn that off(controller settings)

you and me both, honestly, the ps2 and ps3 era, the game were more focused on the gamers, now every game has micro-tran and are Graphics focus.

To be honest with you gameplay wise j stars just feels stiff to play. Barely any moves that you can guard cancel of or any combo breaker mechanics. Jump force may have its flaws with it's mediocre story and cutscenes but the gameplay in jump force is far better than jstars. It's just way more fast paced

Honestly this is how i feel, and i played jump force first before i even found out about jstars. Jump force has the graphics, but this game has the characters i need and enjoy to play as. Both games will get played of course lol, anime fan to the core
