Really good video but there's some parts that don't seem like they would have happened. I get that it's fake, but I just want to point them out(no offense or harm intended) Like, when the HKs first started firing, why did the soldiers and labourers, who were closer to the trenches than the outpost buildings, run for the outpost instead of diving into the trenches? They weren't too far away from the trenches, some were standing adjacent to the trenches, while Donkey was standing inside the trench while cutting down a tree. I can agree with the labourers running away from the trenches because going into the trenches means going in the direction of the HKs, so their fear response would make them run away. But I would expect that the soldiers would run into the trench and fire back, rather than run away in the open. And while I do get that the HKs were somewhat close to the trench, if that was the reason that the soldiers ran away, why did Lieutenant Ponce order a charge to secure the trench? I assume that in perspective of the outpost, the HKs weren't that close to the trench, which is why she even considered the charge. Also, in the scene where the portable auto cannon was brought in, we could see some HKs still firing from outside and behind the trench, which I do think they wouldn't do because the trench provides more cover. I again do not mean to be negative or be mean, and I do get that it's just a video and is fictional. It's cool nonetheless, but it is interesting.

From my personal experience in the military; If you're caught off guard, especially in a firefight with overwhelming enemy firepower, you tend to make unpredictable & stupid decisions. Your brain doesn't really know what to do in the first moments of contact. From a story perspective: It's to show the inexperience of both Ponce and her team. They aren't the brightest, and that comes at a cost. I appreciate the criticism, it's always welcome. Apologies that this had to be explained. - Xenon

@@PabeDety No worries, constructive criticism is always welcome, and perhaps I could've portrayed this better. This wasn't my best video as I was in the middle of the holidays & moving into my new apartment. A few scenes had to be rushed through & scripts rewritten. The original ended was vastly different vs. what is done here. Thanks. - Xenon

the way I see it, and that's goes for IRL as well, in war there are no "good guys". everyone loses because war is hell. but the soldiers on all fronts who fight with valor, honor, and duty of country, are worth remembering.

I like the fact that you can actually fly vehicles in Rimworld with a Aerocraft Mod, hope they fix it to fit more other mods though.
