I swear I have had this happen to me. 4 people just showed up, knocked 2x then just walked in. I come from a big family and lived in a small town and it drives me nuts when people will knock on my door “just come in” I always yell. It was 2 people that were like 65-70 and their parents that had to be like 90 and their was 5-10 people wondering around out in my yard, going to back and checking out my bushes, so I was just “okay… guess some old family’s here” the people instead sat down and I got them drinks and sitting there with them. They started asking about random people. Finally asked “who’s house you trying to be at” they named off a family. “Ohh god we’re at the wrong place” it literally took 10 minutes to round up other family members from the back yard, then of course since they were old we sat in driveway talking to them for 15 more minutes before they left. Still remember just how incredibly confident they were walking in and sitting down.

With the person getting in and out of the car. Walking up to the business and pulling on the door. Example # 2) A car parked by an abandoned house that is know for drug trafficking with people coming up to it for a short time and leaving. The caller thinks they are drug dealing. A man sitting in his car in a neighborhood that he doesn't live in, is not suspicious activity. Most courts require that the cop sees/ hears/smells something that collaborates what the caller has told them. An example the cops pulls down the block and through his binoculars see short term traffic at the car. Just because cops get away with bullying the public a thousand times doesn't mean what they are doing is legal. I guarantee you if the public pushed back and started filing complaints with local, state and federal authorities most of this would stop.
