Just yesterday at the music store where I am a luthier , I started talking with an old friend who is a great pianist . When I started gently suggesting some non mechanistic philosophies he reacted very negatively ! The very idea of telepathy or morphic fields made him recoil and shut off like a big steel door slamming closed!! Must have been his education at Columbia ! Wow , it was dramatic !!!

I think the talk was quite good as an "eye-opening" on the topic of food production... however, I have doubts that were not shown, such as the energy expenditure of production and transportation as well as logistics, about which they comment, it would have been interesting to see a little more about the issue of energy expenditure and production, to be able to understand even more about the impact that food production has and also about what happens at the political level, as I mentioned, that has a socio-political impact, it would have been interesting if he had given a more concrete example... also about practical "day-to-day" examples or practices that could be adopted within cities that are within the reach of all inhabitants. ..

at about 20 min in when TH is discussing visual complexity - was the movement in modernism w/ respect to disease [TB etc] the building becoming a prophylactic to avoid illness - perhaps this anxiety heatherwick refers to in the studies (whole foods) is (our) an innate fear of being hospitalized/surgery/human as observed in clinical environ ?

I think parametricism is too expensive to become mainstream. Hadid's artistic vision made them special and now she is gone sadly.

Dear Rupert, talking about connections through sound and events, I would love to know your thoughts on the ongoing massacre in Gaza - what kind of morphic field is this building and how will it impact people who are on or near that land in the future, and how does it impact us through morphic fields who are so far away and apparently minimally involved?
@adamgordon-strong9055Ай бұрын
Maybe all the issues are a result of a “bad” field that has hung over there for 3000 years. The crusades would have created plenty bad magic.
@mandystuart4909Ай бұрын
@@adamgordon-strong9055 hmm... i think the issues as they stand are more to do with a "bad field" that happened in Europe over the last 3000 years

What “massacre” in Gaza do you mean? You mean the war on settlements of backwards stuck in dark ages violent terrorist tribes temporary occupying parts of Israel ?

Wasn't parametricism supposed to be the new modernism with regards to being the new dominant style only a couple of years ago? Now it apparently already needs an upgrade.

I worked for Tony for many years at DMJM. I considered him to be a genius, he had extraordinary intellect very creative and he was way ahead of everyone else. There are many things we did in the office that were never seen outside the office that were amazing. I modeled my office and career after his leadership and I am proud to have worked closely with him. DMJM was a wonderful creative place to grow.

Hi, I'm pretty agree with patrik , in terms of interconnecting roof tops and eye level visualization, also respect the sun orientation over this sophisticated façade , though I appreciation the fractale organique pattern which well studied and developed in segregate spine. To me this is one of the ambitious projects recently happens in persian gulf regions or Asian pacefique countries with less natural resource observation. I think it could be more respectful to two water reserves around if instead of high-rises there were just couples of multilevel buildings with more interconnected roof tops in relation with context of spine and urbain pattern. Hatts off for patrique and the rest which kept silence, they do not sell green for box of greens...
