Yeah i don't think Jesus is actually so concerned with money only using it as an analogy with things we are more familiar with, it is tied to the analogy about branches that don't yield fruit being trimmed and burned(which is also tied to Jesus cursing the fig tree) and Jesus saying God's word does not return to him void, these are all just different ways of saying the same thing. it's to encourage people to spread God's word(Jesus and the message of forgiveness, which enables the potentiality for peace and therein humble learning and growth.) You have to remember that you are expected to forgive others and not just accept forgiveness for yourself. Unforgiveness is the truly unforgivable sin because you have to forgive to be forgiven, it's like a law where God themselves literally can't forgive you even if they want to if you do not adhere to the rule, so i feel compelled to preach about it at a situation like this because it is important, i have heard people who came back from NDEs where they say they went to Hell and were shown people that normally would have been heaven-bound that were only there because they allowed themselves to have unforgiveness as a part of them and not willing to allow room for peace. Not believing in forgiveness is not believing in Jesus, it's anti-Christ. God understands forgiveness wouldn't always come instantly to someone especially in severe instances if someone murders your family member then of course it would take time but the point is to be open to the prospect of it at least potentially one day instead of pridefully closing that door forever justifying your own sense of need for vengeance or revenge not allowing room for peace. I feel guilty all the time I don't do more to spread the word, mostly i've only tried to ever convert my own family, but i speak openly about God and Jesus online like this sometimes.

My initial thought was to fear God but wasn’t sure. Found this video and thank God not a very long video to watch. Pastor Matthew talked about whom to fear, I did not catch that part right away as He is speaking from the perspective of someone who already knew the answer. I was like waiting for the AHA moment from the perspective of someone who is not sure who to fear. Nevertheless, grateful for this video. Praise God for Valley Alliance Church and Pastor Matthew.

Idk if this is accurate but i find it interesting after his death he is still referred to as the man of God. I think it tells us despite his mortal death he lives with God. Furthermore the way everything played out and even with the way Jeroboam responds after finding out his fate, it seems it was all his purpose. Yes there is sadness in our world as he dies but the peace is that he is with God. His death was an example

I opened the bible and wanted to see if God had something to say to me, I started at 11 and 22 favourite numbers and I read this parable and was confused a bit, your explanation is exactly what God is saying to me, because I’m so scared and fearful of hell that my plan was to almost not move!! This is fascinating. Tonight I found a piece of paper in my living room with II Kings 4:8-10 written on it. Both my wife and I had no clue where it came from, although it may have fallen out of a thrift store Bible.
