I graduated high school in June 1981. To this day, those words still bring tears. My father and his brothers served this country, and honorably, I might add. No one had to ask them. They enlisted. My Dad is the last of our families' 'Band of Brothers'. Thank You, Dad. ❤ P.S. - Great President, Phenomenal Legacy. He had a wall that divided a country torn down after 30+ years. What Did You All Do Today? Hmm? If a person wants to change something, STEP UP!!!!

His legacy is broken homes, widespread addiction, the loss of community and shattered dreams. He allowed our streets to be flooded with cocaine. In one year the price dropped 300%. The most successful merchant in our neighborhoods were the drug dealers. No one was immune. Where did all the money come from to make Colombian drug lords so wealthy. It came from American addicts via a Network established during this traitor's administration. What kind of man poisons his own people to win a geopolitical chess match. May time and history work to reveal the lie this man is. So help me God.

Broken homes, addiction and a sense of community start at home. You get out of it what you put into it. Don't blame anyone but yourself.

This is NOT from the 2001 World Series, Fox used those graphics between 2004 and 2007. However, they did not use the particular filming style until 2006. Fox did not cover the Division Series in 2007 so it must be from 2006.

Yes. I noticed that. Actually, Reagan was considered to be a mediocre actor. I do know he was a tremendous patriot and truly loved America and what America represented. I am 100 percent sure, he truly got choked up when he read the story about Mr. Treptow's pledge to the United States in winning the war. Just a wonderful story and a super president. We miss you President Reagan.....I wish there was another with half your patriotism and love for this country. Our president has none.

@timmythompson2186
@timmythompson2186 3 жыл бұрын
@@LavenderPajamas08 you are correct, however I would argue that a leader even now but especially back then would not want to show that type of emotion. The damage at the thought them being weak would probably outweigh any benefit that they would receive from being emotional. Men and especially world leaders were expected to be tough and gritty. I guess nobody will ever know whether that was genuine emotion or an act. I must say that as a fan of Reagan I have wondered that every time I have listened to this speech. I believe it was likely genuine but I have no way to prove it. Another insight into his and Thatcher's character was the private call regarding Grenada that was not ever supposed to be heard. After the military help was sent the concern was to step back and let the people form their own government so there would not be the thought that we imposed our will upon them. Somebody that is that concerned about people that aren't citizens of his nation would likely get emotional about someone sacrificing their life for his nation

Pay attention to his voice at 1:36 and 1:48. Either President Reagan was a fabulous actor, or a true patriot. I'm inclined to believe he was a true patriot. Mr. Reagan, as I write this we are 4 days out from a monumental election - to slide further along the trajectory towards european style socialism, or to reinforce the American principle of free markets. We miss you.
