Great story! The author called Ginger and Pickles "people"?? People who kept the shop. Ginger was a tom cat, and Pickles a terrier dog. Great story. Soothing, calm voice. Thank you for the read. 😁😁😁😁😁

Thank you very much! You know, I never have read it, but I like hunting at used bookstores and now I'll be on the lookout for a copy! If it were down to favorites I'd be reading Flowers for Algernon on here, but I'm trying to keep it in the public domain. Also I appreciate you asking for Christmas readings, because I hadn't even considered that, and I think we may need to get some Charles Dickens up in here...
