Suburban Ohio here. I'm so jealous of your bike infrastructure and your sense of community. We've got nothing but stroads and selfishness out here.

Just took the route today in the opposite direction after a nice, relaxing ride on the Trolley Trail. This 205 MUP seems designed to confuse or dissuade people, with sections on busy streets, crossing on and off ramps, and perplexing signage. We’ll never include it in a recreational ride ever again.

Cool, but there is a much simpler, but effective solution. I've attached a plastic crate, from the hardware shop, on the top of my bike raket by using tie-wraps
@BikeStuffPDX2 ай бұрын
Is it rain proof? Easy to take on and of? Also, you can still balance a plastic crate on top of the buckets and tie it down with old bike tubes. I've been doing that from time to time.

yes, I need a drone, but only rarely, wish they had those kind of things in the tool library, but I guess that I might just have save up and buy one.
@KoroWerks2 ай бұрын
If you aren't lucky enough to live in SE Portland, it's worth checking your local Library for a "Library of Things" the Hillsboro Library, has a cheap "Bike Repair ToolKit" for example, and I checked that out a handful of times before investing in my own Cheap ToolKit and a couple individual specialty tools. Thanks for Showcasing this awesome resource!

Love it. Do you have any tips on locking your bike cover to your bike to stop someone stealing it or the wind blowing it away. For example - do you have a dedicated lock to go through your bike cover? Is it a chain, or a D-lock? Is the method to use it around a wheel, or can it be fit a cable that then attaches itself to the D-lock that secures the bike?
@BikeStuffPDX4 ай бұрын
No one has stolen my bike cover yet :) they do sell some that could fit a lock, but I don't have one. To not have it blow away, I strap a used bike tube on it.
