I found one of these and bought today. I had not even seen this video. You are a really good player and that guitar shows your talent. Please stop talking about about what you don't know. You made music. I have been fingerpicking since I was in High School....it is really easy....just pick the pretty notes. If you hear harsh....start over and pick the nice ones. I am now 60 years young and finger pick even with a pick in my hand.....and you are kinda doing that already. I love this silver creek T170 and I was not even lookin for a guitar the day I picked it up to wait to talk to shop owner....my mistake?

Both of you sound great! Do you remember what tremolo pedal you were using on this? Or was that amp tremolo/vibrato?

How would you rate this preamp compared to the fishman tonedeq preamp? Form watching many vids I feel this one man offer a slightly less fizzy tone. I know no preamp is perfect, as acoustic guitar sound consists of so much and plugged in they are rarely an impeccable sound no matter what. But that being said, yeah.. would you rate the venue as the best preamp?

The part of the video I don’t like is when you mention you have a southern jumbo and don’t let us see or hear it. Party foul! But very helpful video. Thanks!

dumb question: you mentioned you have a lyric onboard microphone in your gibson. are you running THAT through the LR Baggs unit, or the signal from a pickup, or both? If both, I'm curious how the mic and pickup sound are combined - are both signals combined before leaving the guitar, or are they wired separately? Is this the kind of thing that requires a specially made unit installed inside the guitar? thank you!

So it’s been seven years but why not comment anyway. Nice song and good tone. Been watching some videos hoping to start gigging but too much time working in tall buildings and not enough time to practice. Nice work!

After threading around on Harmony's in general and H165 - 162 and Sovereigns particularly, It seems these are a great base to work from to get a period vintage all solid bodied guitar.

How do you set the knobs on your Martin? I have the same pickup system and it sounds a bit thin to me. How do you set the tone and enhance controls? Also how do you set the EQ on the Venue for the Martin and does it make it sound fuller?

Dang bro, you are really good. I guess that’s more like a Blue Grass style? Idk but it sounds really good. I feel the way you play would make for some good church hymn playing.

Thanks for the video, I was wondering if you had issues with your guitar being too hot when it reaches the mixer, as the Lyric pickup and Venue DI are both active? I agree with the tuner, I find my snark to be much more accurate... regardless the mute function is handy.
