“Waste money on a label maker” that’s funny right there, I don’t care who you are. Only reason you don’t have one is because Milwaukee doesn’t make one but if they did, you would. And just to be honest, if you showed up at my house with something like that to give me an estimate you would be fired before you even got started. No need for a part II video.

Im gonna be honest and say im happy for your love of tools etc and i def wouldnt object to owning a setup like this, but, half of these boxes would rarely get opened, just putting random shit in so many boxes just because you need to have something in them, seems like overkill for what you actually require but congrats on being fortunate and willing to own this. happy living

Pretty nice but I've always tried to keep my trailers weight distribution even always keep that in mind seems like you're a little heavy on the driver side
@SHS_402Ай бұрын
I agree, it’s important but there’s only a 600# difference. I believe side weight distribution is often mistaken for the level of importance compared to forward/rear weight distribution. Obviously if it’s 1000’s of #’s I could see some some issues, but a few hundred isn’t much to worry about unless it’s a single axle

Nice setup I like to hear how you protect flooring and what not during construction as a contractor myself I would rather spend a couple hundred extra dollars and extra time whatever it takes to protect then have that stupid little nick or stain in something that takes forever to fix or get right. I like the heater I don't think a lot of contractors think about that and how critical it is when you're in a cold environment. Batteries tools don't perform well God forbid you forget a case of caulk or a 5-gallon bucket of paint and it's ruined when you get to the job site, there goes another hundred and loss of time. I used to use an electric heater and plug it in everywhere went.

I feel sorry for all the clients/customers that have indirectly paid for that ridiculous number of pack outs, it’s such an inefficient storage solution.
@stevedrawdy2532Ай бұрын
Have you looked at the price to fit out a work van? You gonna complain about them too? The shelving system in my service van was over $4,000. You can buy 25-30 packout drawer systems for that cost.

years ago i got real paranoid about my trailer being broken into or stolen. it took some digging but i eventually found a mobile work trailer alarm...works off its own cellular network 24/7. has all the capabilities youd expect. only downfall is being quite expensive. a think the hardware was 1200-1500 and a yearly service fee of like 100. American made / sold / supported. has piggy back modules that can do different things like lock trailer brakes, sound alarms, real time GPS. that trailer / contents are insured so there is that warm fuzzy comfort. but you've put a lot of work into it beyond its contents. wouldnt you want to know the very moment someone touches it?
@SHS_4023 ай бұрын
That’s probably one of the same alarm systems I have. I get a text if someone touches it, brakes lock, sirens go off, etc. There’s multiple tracking systems in this trailer but I definitely won’t go into those publicly
@kevinhewitt14283 ай бұрын
I love the concept, not the price. The organization system loves my ocd, but the price to store tape doesn't work with any avenue/business plan I know of. The best paid tradesman/woman around here couldn't justify that expense. A bank certainly wouldn't support it.
@SHS_40211 күн бұрын
@@kevinhewitt1428 every business is different. It’s one small part of many systems that I have in place, is it the best system? For me it is, it’s gotten me to where I am today. Would my system work for anyone? Possibly some, but not all. Just by having specific locations for items such as tape is massive! KNOWING is half the battle IMO, and I know where everything is, on inventory days I can easily take note and restock from our inventory as opposed to making a trip to the store in the middle of a job. I average over an hour of windshield time each day and in some cases a trip to the store could be a 2 hr round trip. Organization is a huge key to success!
