Lake lanier is a BEAUTIFUL lake! I used to live on the north side, I miss it a lot. The south side is where all the action is, there are a couple boat up bars. There used to be some CRAZY (not family friendly) every-weekend parties at "Cocktail cove" on Lanier, but the cops really cracked down on them and now no one really parties on Lanier anymore that I know of.
