Why would anyone PAY to eliminate a costly pest to a farmer instead of him footing the bill for fuel and a pilot? What’s more costly, the price of aviation fuel per gallon or the entire cost of lost crops per acre?

they call this bear hunting. any 10 or 12 year can sit in a stand and pull a trigger. these guys say they are bear hunters, they dont hun t, they do nothing but pay to shoot.somebody else does all the work. SAD

Haven’t hunted in Texas. Where I hunt I need to start my physical conditioning to prepare months in advance. Same with honing my outdoor skills so I don’t get hurt or worse. Sat comms help. Texas seems like a place I could go with my kids, no logistics challenges, no skills, no researching of the species required. Just perfect, like checking into a hotel and swimming in a the pool- easy living.
