He's reduced the CSA of the shaft by 60% and is relying on a 5mm soft screw to transmit all the engine torque. The taper was done by eye, with no measuring. It probably will last for a few hours and then bang.

In old delhi we used geysers made ofcopper 50 years ago burning fire wood available with coal stockists.This is quite safe and with no maintenance cost.In cities this is not possible now.In villages this is best option as even cow dung cakes can also be used

I don't understand why that guy is delivering the broken axle using a truck, there is no excuse for not delivering the axle by riding his motorcycle while laying the axle in his lap , C'mon guys your slipping!

PAKISTANI PEOPLE ARE SO INDUSTRIOUS. They are very good machineshop and factory workers. They do factory work at home environment at the same quality and expertise level. Here in the PHILIPPINES, show this kind of repair job to a machinist and he will directly say to you...."NO CAN DO!....BUY A NEW ONE!"
