Hi Allen and Thank you brother!! I hope you are well and Merry Christmas to you & family!

Sometimes we just need that analog fix, so rounded and rich. It really grabbed me when the delay got deep, then at 2 minutes that cutting lead wakes you up. The gliches at 2:45 and 3:20 were spice to the mix. What I really like about it is this is pure Kyle, no cover, no sounds like or influenced by, this is uniquely Kyle. Loved it.

Thank you very much Sam!! I honestly didn’t think anybody would enjoy this one. Glad you get my intent. I purposely made it uber simple. Thought about all those years I listened to Brian Eno and how the simplicity of his music blew me away. You heard the glitches!! I left it in there and did not want to start over and ruin the mood😊 God bless

Why thank you so much Richard! Yes we had had fun on this one. I’m honestly surprised you dug it. This is about a stripped down as it gets for my writing. I was going for an old Brian Eno kind of approach. Listened to him a lot back on the good old 70’s. Looking forward to our next collab bro!

Cool exploration Kyle! Delay is probably my favorite effect these days. So many fascinating delay pedals out there right now. They can turn a few notes into a little symphony. Truly amazing. Keep delving, my friend. Hope you're having a great holiday season. Cheers!!!

Thank you Rick! Appreciate the hear felt review! Guaraldi really has a special place in my musical heart. I well remember watching Peanuts back in the day and thinking "who is that piano player and how do you play like that?" The show made me feel simultaneously happy and sad if that makes any sense. Great memories and only wish I had been the one who wrote this music!!
@RRegerАй бұрын
@KyleWhitlock-Music Totally agree. Yeah, the happy-sad vibe is why Peanuts wasn't just a cartoon and why we're still charmed by Guaraldi's music. Jazz had bigger stars and more amazing innovators but Guaraldi's music still endures

Richard- thanks bro!! Winds are from Dimension Pro, Bandlab. You should be able to access these.. I used a contrabassoon instead of a Bari sax since I couldn’t find a Bari sax. Tenor sax is the other horn. Added a little eq and verb.
@richardschwintek24212 ай бұрын
@ I have that. That is interesting. I have used a bassoon before but not that one usually used in an orchestral part.

@ I have a free sax program with a Bari , tenor and Soprano. It’s ok. Better for simple parts or for horn stabs. Solo not so good. It was free so whatever. I bought Hollywood Pop Brass. It is killer but really hard to use ( since I am a guitar player and not a deep midi guy ). Tried a few things with today. It is a really deep program and learning curve. Sounds great especially in a horn section with Bone Sax and Trumpets. A lot of control but for me it will be a time killer. I hope to use it on a tune in the can but I need Becky to play and I will figure out the sounds.
