I watched this. But I also just watched Benedict Arnold: Hero Betrayed 2021. I mean wow. There are definitely 2 sides to every story. Arnold definitely got hosed by political forces & Gates. But Arnold ultimately made his choice.

I'm blessed by my Lord and saviour Christ, by allowing me to take part in that event, World Youth Day Denver Colorado 1993. It was a very beautiful experience that I had getting closer to the Lord and enjoying every second every moment especially the companionship of all my fellow brothers and sisters from my Parish in Orange County Ca. I was in my teen's when we made the trip from California to Denver Colorado. I say about 14, I was a young kid who grew up in a rough neighborhood seeing other young teens mixed in gang violence. That wasn't my thing. I was just a normal kid. I'm glad that back then we didn't have cell phones, I don't think pagers were even out yet. A 14-year-old only carried his walkman, to listen to music while going on a trip. We didn't have all these gadgets that we have nowadays, unfortunately. Let's back to this story. It was a caravan of about 8 huge buses that left the parish that cool morning. All I had was my pack back, slepping bag and probably $50 dollars for the 2-week trip. Before I continue just wanted to say that everything had been taken care of, like food and board. It was during the summer that this event took place, so when we left the parish, our first stop was in Las Vegas, and it was extremely hot. Thank God we were just there to have lunch. Our group was a pretty big one, I say about 200 to 300 people in total, just coming from one Parish. We continued our trip towards Utah which I had never been to before, actually I had never travelled outside of my neighborhood, so I had never visited or seen the other beautiful states that are in our union. I was just so happy enjoying the scenery. It was about 5:00 p.m. in the afternoon that we had arrived to Utah. We stayed in a nice motel for the night but before we ended the night, the entire group headed towards a church that was to receive us to celebrate mass. Let me remind you, this was a pilgrimage, so of course we prayed, we sang psalms we had mass, we praised the Lord!!! At the same time, we had a lot of time to have fun, to enjoy the companionship of everyone who was there especially my friends that I knew and that were also around my age. We had a blast! We had so much fun, and it was just a nice, good feeling been all together. To this day I still see the same friends which I grew up with in church. The next morning, which was the second day of our trip, I remember that it was about 3 or 4 in the afternoon. We had made it into the Colorado State, I don't remember the name of the city where we had made our final stop for that day. Again, we all checked in into our rooms and gathered outside to head towards a convention center where we were to be hosted and served dinner. The next day, we had morning prayer, which in Spanish we call them Laudes before continuing on our bus trip and finally arriving to our final location where we were to spend our days in Colorado. We finally made it; Frisco Colorado is where we stayed. I fell in love with place, Frisco Colorado, it is a nice and charming town surrounded by beautiful mountains and a lake. A totally different environment than the one I was used to. The days that we spent there we were staying in these beautiful big two-story houses, they kind of looked like huge modern cabins. It was about 7 people per household that we were all staying in throughout Frisco. I really fell in love with this town. Whoever lives there can't say otherwise, it's beautiful. You see, at a young age I was really taken away from the adventure I was having and enjoying life and the beauty that it is. When we were all given word that we were to leave one morning to Denver from Frisco to see the pope, (well actually we were all to arrive to the place where the event would be taken place before the Pope arrived) everyone in our group got only their backpacks and slepping bags, only what was needed, the essentials. We departed from the homes that we were staying in, in Frisco because we were to return the next day. We got to Denver and our buses arrived at their specific drop off location, but I didn't imagine what was to come. I had never walked that much before in my life, I thank God that he gave me the strength to push forward because it's hard for me to ambulate all my life due to an impairment. We walked for about 3 hours heading towards where we were to gather with everyone else on this pilgrimage. When we made it to the campground site, I don't know if I should call it like that or just mention that it was nothing but open land for miles in every direction. I only remember seen green hills and hundreds of thousands of people that day. The pope paid us a visit in the evening only passing by on his helicopter to see the masses! The next day, we all celebrated and participated in the mass and after everything was over, we said our goodbyes to the pope as he departed that afternoon. Well, it was time to walk back to our buses and head back to Frisco. We stayed two more days in Frisco and started the journey back home. I think in total we stayed about 5 days in Frisco. On the way back we didn't return the same way, we left Colorado and drove onto New Mexico where we stayed the night. I can remember when we arrived in New Mexico we drove into this small town. I don't quite remember why we went there, but I do remember getting our butts beat in basketball by the locals. It was the 90s the Jordan era and every kid played ball. I remember we stayed in a decent motel that same day after we had left that place, we had visited. I took a walk to the nearest local restaurant and kind of looked like Mexican, but it really wasn't authentic Mexican food. It was more like New Mexico food cooked by the natives. No pun intended. Hang in there, were almost finished. We left NM the next morning and headed towards Arizona, I don't remember much only the Grand Canyon and a lady throwing her baby's diaper into the canyon. I know, not cool. Well, it is the last day of our pilgrimage and were leaving Arizona and heading to California. I still remember coming into California, it was a beautiful sunny day. We were excited, tired and at the same time a bit sad. I felt sad, because I wanted the adventure to continue, but I was aware that all things come to an end and is time to face reality. People have to go to work, and I had to go to school. Obviously, I can't remember everything, and if I did, imagine. I would be able to write a book about my experiences as a young kid been active with my Parish and partaking in all our events and the most important one, the Eucharist. Our Lady of Pilar will forever hold a very special place in my heart until the Lord takes me from this world. Yo vengo a reunir a todas las naciones! Vendran y veran mi Gloria. Vendran!!! y veran my Gloria!! Gloria! Gloria! Gloria. If you know, you know. I wish this generation especially the kids, would have the opportunity to experience what I had experienced and open themselves to get to know Jesus Christ and to bring the Lord into their lives. Just as I have been blessed and fortunate to have had a closer relationship with Christ my Lord and Savior. God Bless You.

Very sad that both hosts, Beverly Sills and Peter Jennings, died of lung cancer. Sills wasn’t even a smoker. (Reuters) - Beverly Sills, the world-renowned soprano who became the most popular opera singer in America in modern times, died on Monday evening in New York from inoperable lung cancer, her manager said.

Good eye, there is no part one, at least not anymore. I'm pretty sure that the first video had violated copyright in some way that upset the KZbin content ID. Correction: There was never a Part 1 on KZbin, the video shows a Part 2 to a series in which I unfortunately do not have access to Part 1. The original owners of the tape didn't record it.
