Do you use clippers front to back or back to front. I'm doing front to back but don't know if this is correct

I have Wahl Magic Clip clippers, that don't have this screw. Edited to add: tightening the screw on the taper lever made made it heaps quieter. Weird that that's not in the manual, but it worked for me.

Mine is crazy loud an I have to turn it in so far to reduce the noise, that the blade isn't really oszillating anymore
@drjonathansevy1254
@drjonathansevy1254 6 ай бұрын
That's a very good observation. I did not notice any change in oscillation, but turned it more than necessary to stop the noise, then backed it off again just out of habit. I think I'll back it off again until it roars, then turn it counterclockwise just barely past where the noise stops. Thank you.

I wish the Color Pro cordless had that screw. Mine is way louder and buzzier than the corded clippers I was supposedly upgrading from. So loud I can't hear when the clippers are making contact with hair when doing fine touches.

I’ve got the same ones and it’s making that sound and I’ve tried tuning it and realigning the blades but it’s not working. Idk if I’m doing it wrong but how do I tune it after realigning the blades. Because after aligning them, the power screw moves the cutting blade. And the noise persists. What do I do sir?

Does loudness usually come with smoking not a minute after being turned on? I am living in Hungary for a few years now and I was wondering if it maybe is because my big Wahl manual corded plug in buzzer from home in Canada is not supposed to be in connection with plug in wall adapter since the plugins here are completely different?

Indeed the frequency and volt is different in Europe than in the U.S that's why, a converter is needed to make it work

My MultiClipper worked quiet as a lamb for years, decades. I called you folks to buy a new blade, which they sent to me without charge, though I asked for an invoice to pay. Shortly after installing the new blade, it started to suddenly go into roaring in the middle of shaving my beard. Maybe I missed something in the instructions about adjusting, but took blade off again a half dozen times to try to figure it out. Finally smartened up, looked at your website, and 30 seconds later the problem was gone. Thank you, Wahl.
