Must admit that i think sensor dry is mandatory on dryers, but some people don't like it and just want a really basic dryer like this.

these basic dryers are a good reliable choice for someone who wants something simple. i have a indesit IDC85S from 2011 and it's been very reliable. the only things i'd say about mine is firstly, it really eats electricity. i've had washer dryers that use less than half the amount of electricity to dry the same load. secondly, hotpoint\indesit dryer drums also ball everything up very easily - bedding is a nightmare to dry in mine. not sure how these new models compare but something to bear in mind when choosing.

How do I use a program to self clean the machine?
@lords-electrical4 сағат бұрын
If a machine hasn't got a dedicated self clean program then i would normally recommend just selecting a Cotton program, putting it on a 90 degree wash with no items of clothing in there. That way it will put the machine through a high temperature program to clean the machine

1 thing i don't like about those lint baskets is that the plastic hinge mechanism snaps, mine did within a year. They should have used a metal rod inbetween both sides instead.

We have had this air fryer for a week and I think it’s brilliant all I do is half way through cooking I change the chicken or whatever I’m cooking back to front turn it over and let it cook for the remaining time it fits nicely on the cooker under the extraction fan so can leave it in that position permanently brilliant design. and cooks superb

@lords-electrical23 сағат бұрын
The quality on the Rangemaster products is normally very good. I must admit i haven't seen one in the flesh but if they are as good as the full size range cookers then it should be a great product.

How do you change the temperature of a programme? The manual doesn't explain and nor do you. What am I missing?
@lords-electrical4 сағат бұрын
On this model, the temperatures are fixed with the program you are selecting. For the price difference, i would try and upgrade to one of the Bosch WAN.... models as they are much better with a range of temperatures and pick the right model and you will get a 5 year warranty too.

My mums sanyo microwave is 23 years old and still works perfectly, except for the bulb which went out many years ago. Do you know any modern brands/models which could provide similar longevity? I'd appreciate it very much
@lords-electricalКүн бұрын
On the whole, we mainly supply Panasonic Microwaves as the more reliable brand, but Sharp are also very good too. We used to sell loads and loads of Sanyo microwaves back in the day 😆

That would normally mean the setting on the fridge is too cold, if you turn it down a touch then it should stop the freezing in the fridge compartment

Does it have a vent or can it be put in a cupboard?
@lords-electrical3 күн бұрын
This dryer doesn't have an external vent , if you wanted the air to exit the machine through a vent hose you would need to purchase a vented tumble dryer. I wouldn't recommend putting the dryer in a cupboard as the air from the front of the dryer will not have anywhere to go and will damage the dryer long term and will cause moisture buildup in the cupboard area. If you wanted it in a cupboard i would look for an integrated dryer.

Just upgraded to this from an older Bosh model of similar size. I don't particularly like the touch-only control surface instead of physical buttons on this one though I suppose it makes it easy to wipe clean. Also, the control panel labels on the stainless steel/black model are VERY hard to see if the oven is in a dark part of the kitchen (they aren't backlit). In hindsight, the white model might have been a better choice in my case but it doesn't look as cool. ;) The new addition of defaulting to 800W when you dial in the time is a nice usability feature. I had to choose wattage every single time with the previous model. Also, the interior LED is a lot dimmer on the new model compared to my old model. The dark interior also adds to the dimness. I would still prefer it this way as it presumably consumes less power now. A nice new feature is that if you leave the door open after cooking to help the condensation dry, the light dims after a few minutes. On the whole, very happy with this model. The stainless steel/black version is very classy and looks a lot more expensive than it really is.

@lords-electrical4 күн бұрын
If the appliance is kept on its side, then yes this is true, but if its kept upright then it should really be left for around 3-4 hours to let the compressor settle before you switch it on, not wouldn't normally need to leave it 24 hours
