Jesus refused Satan’s offer to make him king. This man is talking about the ego of each person. The ego is everyone’s problem. No connection here.

Herod was such a vile and corrupt leader. I never knew that he was actually not a born Jew but a convert into it. Very interesting insight. To think that a gentile born man was king of Israel at the time the King of kings was born. So ironic and prophetic.

Dear Drew, I remember the day that we arrived after hearing that Austin was killed. I hugged you and you said, "I forgive the man that hit Austin". It so impacted me that you were forgiving the driver of the car that hit Austin. Since then I have prayed that I could be that forgiving of others that hurt me or others that I love.
