that rendition of "weight of failure" at the beginning is godly.

Beautiful music. Thunderbolt 1000t Siren Productions' videos of the Hinton train collision and the Nepisiguit runaway train accident brought me here. Except, the song was slowed down.

If you pay close attention, you can hear samples of "anguish" by Shiro Sagisu from the 3rd Bleach soundtrack play at certain parts. Proof that Martin O'Donnell and Michael Salvatori will always be two of us.

For anyone who reads this the title of his piece “100,000 Year War” is a reference to how long the Flood outbreak was going on in Delta Halo. It may be hard to believe but it explains why the buildings in the Quarantine Zone were blasted and rusted. In addition, because the monitor was captured the Sentinels lost cohesion and neglected their duties. With the lack of proper leadership, the Sentinels only serve to contain and not eliminate.

Great edit. Were you ever able to extract all the music files from H2A?
@aathmastralismusic1233 Жыл бұрын
Unfortunately not. There's no direct way to export the sound files, only a way to play them. So I have to use OBS to record system audio and then painstakingly trim the audio precisely so it will loop when played immediately after one another. So it's a bit of a laborious process.

I'm not the only person who wants an animated movie or a game about the war between humans and ghibalbans.
@S0036-n4x5 ай бұрын
The forerunners are ancient humans that reset the galaxy to preserve their way of life for future generations. This "Human-Foreunner War" stuff didn't come about until new writers employed by 343 retconned the original story. This music, as well as all of Marty's work, has a much more somber tone when considering it this way. He wrote this music to convey a sense of sacrifice of our ancestors from a forgotten age. Hince why the scores he made are melancholic and mysterious. They help one imagine, and dream of, the days of old and how magnificent it must have been, while also reminding the listener that those who lived during that time paid a heavy price (for you).

Is it possible you can do a loop of Halo 4's Wreckage. Although it is not original trilogy the middle section with the lovely synth and ending with the bells are just amazing to listen to.

I got sick of having to play "Prophet Suite" just to listen to Chill Exposure Anniversary, so I made a one hour loop. Thanks to MCC's new H2 Guerilla modding tool and 343 releasing the anniversary sound tags. Fun fact: while there are "in" and "loop" files for this track, there is no "out" file. Rather than have a boring fade out, I wanted to challenge myself a little, and see if I could make an ending similar to the official soundtrack version's in Prophet Suite. I found a nice spot in one of the loops to end the hour-long extension. For the last few seconds leading up to that cut off, I simultaneously faded out the track while fading in a reverb, so it echoes out nicely, similar to how it ends in "Prophet Suite".
