I would call the color Clementine. Btw, it was the US Festival. Broadcast means it was on the Radio or TV. I wouldn't let this discourage you from buying splatter. I have plenty that are flat. I used to press records for Furnace(Metallica own part of it now). We had great QC. The problem is these pressing places are so backlogged they are rushing stuff out the door. The main reason I have slowed down on buying new vinyl.

As someone who pressed records for Furnace, the company Metallica just bought into recently, that is a manufacturing defect. Vinyl was not allowed to cure for at least 24 hours. And probably didn't use cooling trays.

Good afternoon. First of all, congratulations on your videos. They are my oracle of wisdom. I wanted to ask you a question. I have a Marantz SD1000 and I have maintained it following your steps. In principle everything is fine, fast forward and rewind perfect, but when I press play it does not advance. The head does not move. It's driving me crazy... do you have any idea what could be happening? thank you very much and greetings
@mr.nobody5422
@mr.nobody5422 15 күн бұрын
If the head doesn't move up and down. Remove flywheel bracket and flywheel, clean the metal mechanism plates and lightly oil those mechanism plates that go up and down and sideways. Probably old grease gummed up mechanism and not moving freely. Lightly oil and clean mechanism parts with alcohol while working the buttons slowly. Mechanism Probably gummed up old grease.

@@mr.nobody5422 thank you very much for the response!! Sorry but I have not expressed myself correctly. The head mechanism goes up and down correctly when you press play. The rubber drag roller also works correctly. What does not rotate is the tape drive shaft (I don't know its exact name). On the other hand, it does spin rewind and fast forward. thank you so much

@@juancarlosrs3681i think that you mean that the tape take up spool isn't spinning to take up slack and tape gets eaten. So, update i got the "Fat32 flash drive " connected to the TV. And the hisense TV destroyed that flash drive also. Still works for now but won't upload any new apps. Any app I uninstall will not come back. I think its on borrowed time, no apps will update at all, 13 pending now.
@darthwiizius
@darthwiizius 19 күн бұрын
It's most likely a firmware issue and partitioning protocol that's causing your problem mate, those drives are likely not dead. When you instal a new internal drive on your computer it doesn't show up on your desktop because it has no partition to recognise, it may be that your TV is partitioning the drives in a way that your computer can't recognise, possibly related to the non-windows OS on the TV. Have you checked for a software update for the TV? They're usually simple to instal via (ironically) a flash drive and you can likely find a guide to show you how, possibly on YT. Just be careful to identify your model (use the data on the sticker on the back of the set, you may need to run the serial number), consumer sets can have variances between seemingly identical models. TV manufacturers tend to refresh their product lines every 6 months, for example. TV software has been a bit of a consideration since flatscreens first came out, we had no end of "repairs" for years back when I was still in the business that came down to nought more than flashing the TV with new software, at least with most modern sets you shouldn't need a specialist jig and service remote to carry this out like you did in the mid noughties.
@mr.nobody5422
@mr.nobody5422 18 күн бұрын
I checked for firmware updates, there are none. The manual doesn't say anything about external storage devices at all. I'm glad tv still functional, and all I can do is wait for it to die. It has destroyed 4 flash drives. Including a Fat32 drive. When I bought this, wasn't a lot of research on this 2 years ago. I should have got 4 years warranty. Instead of the 2 years warranty that just expired 6 months ago.
@darthwiizius
@darthwiizius 18 күн бұрын
@@mr.nobody5422 I don't know how the extended warranty system works in the US, I'm not sure this is a physical fault but a problem caused by a young company who's software isn't fully built. You should get good use out of the panel though, flatscreens from day one had only a 10% failure rate compared to CRTs (CRTs had a 4% failure rate, flat screens a 0.4% rate), I've still got a 15 year old 720P Plasma in use, it has a scart RGB on it for retro use, with hundreds of thousands of hours on the panel. Just plug a basic PC into an HDMI port, it'll do more smart TV stuff than a TV can do, doesn't have to be flash or up to date to run that functionality.

Do you live close to a transmitter or use a boosted signal? If so you should plug in a signal attenuator between the TV's ariel socket and the ariel cable, they only cost a few UK Pounds and will control the signal strength to not overload the tuner module on the main PCB.

TVs and other devices might format the flash drive to certain formats not readable by some operating systems. There are commands you ca use to format from Command Prompt. Overall, its a nightmare, that Hisense TV should have it's own space not need external memory. Ask Hisense about "common sense". 🙂

And I'm in Canada, so everything out of the US is double charged for shipping: once to the eBay international shipping center and then again from there to me plus customs charges. Long story short, I usually get my better decks cheaper from Japan now and they know how to pack them right.
