I absolutely love sitting with you while you plan! You always remind me to use all the things I have, like ink and stamps. I always forget to bring those into my planning and spread creation. In fact, I'm going to pull them out now and go back to some spreads and add some ink. But generally, love the long vids you do, please don't make them all shorter! <3

You can also use a Tombow or mildliner on the stamps and either breathe on them with mouth or mist them lightly with water then stamp works well

This box is so my art style and I’m so flipping excited to get it. I thought I loved September’s box and thought nothing could top it, but they keep surprising me. I am using this sweater 8x8 as my reading journal for 2025 and I am so flipping excited.

It's not exactly my aesthetics, but it does feel like home.

These were really pretty.

The playing cards annoy me more than anything. Any smooth playing card will begin to stick and warp with the slightest humidity. Good quality playing card will be “air cushioned”…meaning they have a linen like texture to keep them playable for a long time. Those cards cost pennies to make. The tape dispenser was an after thought that didn’t even have their branding on it. The snow globe stickers would have been better if there were four different designs instead of two. The pens were super cheap quality as well as the paper cutter you can buy on Temu for a few bucks. The journals were nice, but the box definitely wasn’t worth the price. The value wasn’t there. I don’t understand how their advent calendars continue to disappoint when their quarterly boxes are spectacular for substantially less money.

I agree about the window in the washi box, it also allows the box itself to be re-used. Shotguns houses - like in New Orleans? Love the washi and bookmarks and stamps (can be used for Easter too). Love the journal as well! Guess I should’ve waited to comment lol

This theme should be called “Grandmas House”! Not my aesthetic at all comparison to last quarters stunningly beautiful box, especially that printed cover journal they did in the last one. I’m really bummed I had to cancel my subscription rather than have the option to opt out of this quarters box cause I usually love A & O products but wouldn’t even be comfortable regifting this one. 😕 Thank you for sharing though. Super helpful!

I absolutely love Scandiavian design and always have…this subscription box has my name written all over it! I’m also a knitter, and stranded knitting and Scandinavian knitting designs are some of my favorites. I really want to sign up for this one…but it’s Christmas season and how do I manage to get it in the budget 😮 Thanks for demonstrating the stamps. I don’t use stamps (not because I don’t like them, but because I’ve fallen into enough stationery rabbit holes and I have to stop somewhere, lol) and I really didn’t understand what the long row that looked like piano keys to me. I’m also loving the stamps and hope the ink is non-smearing cause it would be cool to color in the white spaces with markers. While this is no guarantee, I know A&O is trying to have a larger supply of products available. I’ve only gotten one subscription box and it was due to them having the capital to purchase more stock, and bought the summer subscription box (the school themed one…love every single item…and definitely the individual items are 2-3x worth of products than the $75 cost.) So, I’ll take the chance again.
