Love it! As a fan of stamps too, how did it hold up on the other side?

There is mild ghosting with the darker chalk inks, no bleed, and no ghosting with lighter chalk inks. I’m sticking with that kind of ink pad for my planners with thinner paper!

I just got the horizontal one. I’ve used HP for roughly 9 years and I just really need a change. I really love notebooks like archer and olive so I know this will probably be a hit for me.

Fine tip pens work much better for the lines a flair will create 😂 in under the stencil

The best thing about plants and flowers is that they come in. So many shades/colors in nature- you almost can’t go wrong with- beautiful

For the stencil, in my experience it is better to use a brush to apply the ink but wipe the stencil off between locations. You can use a baby wipe, microfiber cloth or cloth diaper/flour sack cloth. Ink works well with stencils, the reason you wipe the back of the stencil off between locations is so you don’t accidentally transfer excess ink to the next spot

How are you using the trackers in the front section? I am looking for ideas for both this and my health planner in Paper Tess Designs... looking for some inspiration from your creative mind.

Great tips, Elizabeth. I have to use a tweezer, or else I can't see where I am placing my stickers 😂. I for sure need to do more tip ins. Thanks for jumping into the collab this year.

Thanks for sharing! I love the idea of the book for Esther. I have a 4 year old granddaughter and I think I’m going to get one for her. I’ll go back and add pictures of things we’ve done together and going forward write down memories with pictures, funny things she says… I was thinking pink, but once I saw that holo!

These were some really helpful tips. I also recently watched a video (I think it was by Laurel Denise) that showed another option for adding things to a spiral/twin loop planner. They used "sticky tabs" specially designed to attach to a paper and then hook on the coils. I don't remember what they are called, but amazon sells them.

I’ve started using B6 journals as commonplace books. A handy size for if you have no room to pack your main journal, you can always transfer any important info into that later.

I'm used to ghosting in my Bibles. I am very careful to swatch my tools, though, because I don't mind ghosting, but I can't deal well with bleed through. I also have a bit of a heavy hand when writing, so I am also used to feeling the depression on the next page because of it. I prefer not to worry about dealing with either in a planner, so I will be on a mission of discovery for the tools I plan to use on the thicker paper that Happy Planner uses. Being new to all of this, I have a lot to learn. But I'm looking forward to the process.
