26:14 well I didn’t used to but now I need to rearrange my calendar because putting evening at the bottom and morning at the top makes sense! 🤯 I hate it when things are out of order so I don’t know why I didn’t think of this!!!

They are called a stamp positioner and in a bigger journal you could probably use one on an outside edge or corner. In a small journal - no. HOWEVER you could use the positioner to stamp your image on a piece of paper, and then just use taper glue to put it in your journal just like you would’ve a sticker.
@thejoyfulsojourn6 күн бұрын
Stamp positioner! That’s what it’s called, thank you! I wouldn’t want to stamp on paper and then add paper to journal, so it’s probably not for me.

Aw bummer!! I’ve seen her do ONE restock of her first stickerbook, so it’s not a regular thing for her so I’d presume not.

You are doing great, detail brushes are much better than sponges. It helps in a bound book stamping to put the 2 and 3 next to each other. Also, lots of “pros” suggest intentionally staggering the two numbers like your 23 is. The biggest thing is once you write around the stamping, the focus is less on the stamping. You did an amazing job, it’s a process! I do love doing sticker surgery, customizes the look. Slice tools are so much improved from when they first came out, or maybe that their selection has broadened over time. I prefer to journal in a B6, travelers notebook size or smaller and am not a consistent daily journaler either. I love the Zig dot and also the Ohuhu dot pens. Ohuhu works better for me on TRP, they both work well on A & E paper. I also like Primrosia (not sure they have dot pens though) sorry a squirrel moment. Elizabeth, your creative and technical skills are growing by leaps and bounds! Your attitude and stepping outside of the lines, or maybe thinking outside of the box have freed up my thoughts about journaling, using A & E books, etc- I find I am using many more things in my stash and that it’s ok to jump from journal to journal since you have gone full time in your creative journey. As my good friend Johanna from @jojozahanna says “our things need to work for us, not the other way around”. You are achieving your goals, thanks for including us in your journey
@annettefertitta68689 күн бұрын
I also love stamping in brown, deep green and also blue. Dry “water brushes, i.e., can add water) work well, the brushes are a bit stiffer or you can spritz the ink you just used and carefully blot. That blue on top of the browns of the hammock are exquisite! It helps on big numbers (images to carefully set the stamp down and put pressure on the middle of the stamp and you are correct, even the depth of a sticker affects the stamp. PS any tips I provide are less from my precision stamping and more from experiences of my own.😂
@annettefertitta68689 күн бұрын
I really wish that she’d use more clear stickers or that the paper stickers were more kiss cut, I wind up fussy cutting the white edge off of anything that touches another sticker. I have vol one and am considering volume two. I love her style. Cassie, what about Washi stickers in the future.

I got a Scribbles that Matter (undated; 120 gsm) with the same layout. I like it too, but I'm in a period in my life that I'm not using it as much as I thought I would. Last year, I started in discs but it got so beat up in my bag that I could not handle it. Prior to that, I was 100% bujo, but the weeks that I couldn't set up a page meant that I did not plan and sometimes that last a couple of weeks so it threw me off. I finished last year in a Clever Fox that had too many prompts on the right side. I hated them last year, but this year (when I don't have enough to write), I'm kinda missing them. LOL The perfect planner never is the planner I'm using at the time. LOL
