Nice job, we all learn. Maybe share what you found out, like handling and limits etc. Also just a heads up, most Portage trails are not regularly maintained, so a few exploratory hikes with a rod before hand is adivsed haha. Got that exercise in atleast, burn off a little of that lechon haha.

@@mozone9177 Wow! I really appreciate it! 😁 Regarding the spot, it is not that deep - probably around 4-6ft only, but just to warn you, when I did this video, a lot of vegetation under the water is what I found there. Any tips. Fishing at l ockport went 8 times got nothing lol
@ItsMikeeboi2 ай бұрын
@@Streamerpluggy I appreciate the comment bro. 😁 Question: What specie are you after? Lockport has a lot of it to offer, but definitely Big Cats are top specie to hunt there. So i’d say use atleast a 3000 size and up reel with 40lbs test line, and circle hooks. Nightcrawlers are always a go to when it comes to bait but you can always try to experiment (watch some catfishing stuff), choose the spot where the current breaks because most of the times fish will be hanging out there. So far, that’s what I do, for al the other specie, I just use my light setup like my 1000 to 2500 size reel and a lighter line. Happy Fishing bro! Tight lines! 😎👍

Why does everyone ignore the Mako 5 inch baby pike swimbaits?! Absolute travesty!! I can't keep the pike off them! And Mako is actually a Dollorama brand. Not a real company. You see those kind of baits all over sites like Ali Express and Temu. But they work really well for things like river and small lake fishing.

Nice haul, I’ve never picked up fishing gear from dollarama. But it looks like they got way more stuff than I imagine. Also never fished googan squad baits or lures. But seen them all over here on KZbin. They should catch fish. I just had a huge haul for my fishing season too. Mostly jig heads and grubs and double tails. From brands like powerbait,yum,mister twister and some custom bait companies. I use them on walleye,pike,rainbow,cutthroat,brook trout,lake trout,bull trout and artic grayling here in BC. Good luck using some of your new stuff buddy. Catch you next time.
