Reading all the comments about James voice...You are all in denial... just like the members of DT. Ok, the affection between them might explain why he is still around after all these years, but seriously... His voice is just horrible when he needs to push it a little bit more... No variation, just the same tone in the chorus. It's like hearing a duck get slaughtered... I'm so sad because I love this band so much. But I can't ear them live anymore because of this. And it's a shame because when you listen to the rest of the band, with MP back, their sound is just awesome!!
@GrantTregellas12 күн бұрын
He should have quit years ago. Its only going to get worse. How bad does his singing have to get before the DT fanboys finally admit he is making this band sound terrible. Just because he was a great singer 30 years ago doesnt change the objective fact that he is singing notes completely out of tune almost every line.

James' Atotune works, his performance seems acceptable enough to me to pay for the ticket on the 17th in Madrid.
@AliaksejKa13 күн бұрын
Why do you think he uses autotune? I feel it's hard to sing these high notes, but not autotune. Autotune removes slides, here he is not so perfectrly in tune and using slides.
@rafarosas653413 күн бұрын
@AliaksejKa Because miracles do not exist, a person's voice does not change like that from one day to the next, you just have to see how badly the tour started and how he is singing much better a few days later, I don't know if it is autotune, some other auto program corrector, overdubs... The most important thing is that it seems to work, and in my opinion now if a minimum quality standard is met when paying such an expensive ticket to go see them, good for them, they have seen the problem coming and they have solved it on the fly.
@AliaksejKa13 күн бұрын
@rafarosas6534 i more believe in lip syncing that in autotune

@@AliaksejKa What you say is true, but let's be realistic, things were too bad for such a radical change to be appreciated now, you can experience a slight improvement, but not this, his voice no longer sounds continually out of tune, he seems to be tuned at all times.

That’s a good thing. Producers always pull tempos back in the studio, and it’s a fight. with the band. Most songs sound better faster. Look at the rehearsal for The foo fighters, the cure Disintegration 1990, Pearl Jam, even flow, all sound far better and sometimes double tempo, not to mention how much harder it is to perform
