hey after clicking option '6' my version of windows 8 changes to windows 8 pro but there's this activation message so I freaked out and went back to core but now the message is still there. How can I reactive my windows? Please it would be a huge help if you know how to. I've been trying this for like 2 days right now and there's still no solution.

I tried this on my mid 2010 model mac. It didn't work, it kept formatting the usb as mac os extended. When it should have been as mac os extended(jounaled). Although I'm not sure if this is the root cause. either way the mac is not detecting the bootable drive.
