Can the main pack shoulder and hip belt attach to malice frame? I’m thinking about getting malice for bridge port

I am in a similar situation and unsure if i should by a gi alice pack or malice frame
@handsetmediaАй бұрын
malice frame is definitely the move

I wish they still added the loops at the top and bottom like the Alice frame.
@handsetmediaАй бұрын
yeah they tend to feel a little uncomfortable if you have a smaller upper body, but it works out on everything else, especially when you have a plate carrier on

with the gap between the frame and your back would you recommend going with another pack if I'm not going to be wearing armor regularly on my rucks
@handsetmedia3 ай бұрын
Honestly, The tactical tailor frame is extremely comfortable. So it’s honestly personal preference. I would personally rock with or without armor. The angle of the Alice, MALICE, PALICE frames really take the pressure off your hips and lower back

Yo idk if you know but the center rivet on the Alice frame sometimes snaps but you can reinforce it with either a weld or some sort of glue and clamp from the Home Depot, had the fucking thing break while using it in the field and had to carry all my shit like a purse
@handsetmedia4 ай бұрын
I actually had a frame that I bought and it was broken. I brought it to a shop to get welded however, welding is extremely expensive.. If you manage to get a damn near new condition, Alice frame, I’d recommend just sand down and painting it with anti rust paint. Also, one thing that I learned is that the rivets only pop out when you’re extremely rough with your pack . if you constantly like to drop your pack from shoulder height repeatedly, that’s what stresses the rivets. Cool thing about the aluminum frames that you can always bend things back into place.

Does anyone have a link to the video of how to put the two together? I have a filbe and a pallet of surplus frames.

You can check my channel. I have another video of me installing the frame.

Question, I plan on purchasing an Alice frame because its cheaper and I hate the issued pack frame. Im just wondering how an Alice frame feels with a plate carrier, and how durable/sturdy is the frame with weight. Thank you
@bigjojo82934 ай бұрын
It’s fells better than the plastic frame and it’s has more room
@handsetmedia4 ай бұрын
The frame was meant to be used with body armor. That’s why there’s space whenever you don’t use your plate carrier and you’re using just your pack. I highly recommend getting an Alice frame over the filbe frames

Any experience with the TT low profile adjustable straps? The ones similar to the filbe straps?
@handsetmedia4 ай бұрын
They’re definitely better than the filbe straps. However they’re still rough on the shoulders. The only reason I kept the TT hip belt is because it’s firm. Shoulders I tried finding something softer

I have seen some guys bitching about ALICE frame but in my opinion ALICE frame rocks with good harness system-products from Eagle Industries and Tactical Tailor. I use my medium ALICE for rucking which is one of the best workout in the world. I loaded my ALICE upto 30 kg and walk at least more than 1 hour upto 2 and half hour. Sturdy, stable and feels great.
@militarygearjunkie252211 ай бұрын
I use my FILBE with original harness which is I am not fully satisfied with. Mystery Ranch frames will be ideal with the FILBE bag. I hope the frame doesn't dig into your shoulder blades.
