Cheesecake is my absolute favorite dessert. This one resembles what I used to make in the good old (bad carb) days - including the water bath. Will make this in a few days - see how it affects my CGM! Thank you for all the detail, much appreciated!

Keto?! 😂😂😂 what’s the point when you pump chemicals and garbage into your system? I just have a slice of cheese from cheese cake factory once a year to now never. I tried this recipe and it’s not good at all because it smells like ass and tastes like sour fermented milk. Better just avoid

This still applies to people who don’t like keeping cars and need to buy a new one every couple years or so. Also if your taking 72 months or 84 month loans/leases you can’t afford the car
@DarkAetherPeow2 жыл бұрын
I personally prefer buying cash outright when it comes to sports coupes so I can get it over with and actually own the car completely (and do repairs myself as a car mechanic) but not everybody is willing or wanting to do that, so seeing a well thought out video like this opened my eyes to such an option even though I would just stick with cash and title method, thank you very much good sir as my girlfriend would do something like this lol

This is very well done; I feel like I understand the concept much better now. The only thing it didn't cover is options for exiting your lease early; this can be quite restrictive/expensive, and should weigh into the decision on leasing vs financing imo.
@christophermiller49822 жыл бұрын
Yes, but counter point: to get out of an 84 or 72 month loan early is also quite restrictive/expensive. I can usually get someone out of a lease with no or almost no negative equity 6 months before it's up (30 months total) but trading someone out of a 72 or 84 month loan after only 30 payments is usually almost impossible because of the front loaded nature of interest, they'll have barely made a dent in the principle, but the car will still have greatly depreciated.

i want to lease a car . i have 7k for downpayment because i dont want high monthly rate i can used the money to invest and get higher returns. what happens with my down payment at then end of the contract leasing?
@christophermiller49822 жыл бұрын
All the down payment does is reduce the portion of the lease you pay monthly, vs the amount you pay up front. So if the car was 40k, the residual was 22k, you could either pay 18k over 36 months, or you could pay 7k up front and then the remaining 11k over the 36 months. Regardless you've paid the same amount by the time the 36 months is up, and the balance remaining (22k) is exactly the same at the end of the lease, whether you used a down payment or not. Because interest is already built into that 18k, you aren't saving any money by paying 7 of it up front.
@herplace98272 жыл бұрын
Can you pay a lease term in full right at the beginning or do you have to pay it monthly?
@ericbitzer5247 Жыл бұрын
If you can afford to do that, you might as well put down a huge down payment and own the car. Leases are for people who need a low monthly payment.

2 questions what if the car gets stolen? second, i find it too good to be true as in it seems like the customer is getting all the perks, not the car manufacturer- it seems like theyre loosing money as apparently almost going to end up paying more for the car once you give it back than its market value, so arent they loosing money, if they are, why do they give out leases if they are at risk of that, how is it benefiting them?
@christophermiller49822 жыл бұрын
Great questions! If the car gets stolen, work with your insurance company and the police. It's no different from if you'd had a loan on it, your obligation is still to fulfill the lease contract. Good news though is that the full coverage insurance you have typically will cover the value of the vehicle if it's never recovered (cutoff typically being 30 days) As for "it seems to good to be true, how does the manufacturer/dealer benefit?" think about it from the manufacturer's perspective. They made the car for $20k that they can sell for $30k (which would be a $10k profit) but instead, they lease it to a customer for $30k with a residual of $16k. Then the customer pays $14k over 3 years, plus, say, $1000 of interest on the lease, and then gives it back to the manufacturer who lists it at auction. Let's say when they list it they only get $12k for it. Oof. They bought it back from the customer for $16k! But do the math, they built the car for $20k, he paid them $15k over 3 years and then they sold the vehicle at auction for $12k they're still making $27,000 total on the car that cost them $20k to build, for a $7000 profit net, and then that customer is back in the market 3 years later buying from them again. If he does that twice in 6 years, that's $14k total on two cars, vs if he'd done a 6 year loan and kept it, they only would have made $10k in that same time frame. And if he chooses to buy it out and pay them the full 16k residual, they're happy because they got his lease payments and the full residual without having to take a chance at auction. This is a bit of an oversimplification, but the principles are there.

If only the payments declined over time to reflect the car's depreciating value. That's the only way it would be fair to lease holder.
