If I were dyeing my own yarn I would just dye it the length of the color changes?

I love the bernat baby velvet. I had only 1 knot in 3 skeins. I used a basket weave stitch and 6mm susan bates hook and it is stunning with velvet.

I am looking for you on Etsy. And for the pattern! I’m having a heck of a time. LOL! It’s probably just me. I hate Ravelry though so I don’t go on there. That site sends u in never ending circles.

Your link for the written pattern doesn't work any longer. Says account suspended. You probably don't bother checking this anymore though. Boo

I haven’t tried coboo yet but I just felt it for the first time today when I saw it at joann fabrics and to be honest, it was soft but it didn’t feel as soft as I expected it to be. Maybe it was the combination of cotton and bamboo. I like how truboo by Lionbrand feels. It’s very soft. The coboo felt like a weird texture to me.

I found it difficult to distinguish the stitches, because the yarn is so bulky. Could you demonstrate this with a simpler, more lightweight yarn?

Great tutorial and love the end result. Wedding present for a friend's daughter. Couldn't find the same yarn so got the Bernat blanket yarn instead, which is ever so soft.
