My favorite instrument in this video is the Resonator Bow (at 4:25) and with some research I have heard it is also called a “Berimbau” and some say it was a modified hunting bow. Great video!

Some of the instruments are not from ancient Israel for e.g. Kanun, lute, oud and the drums. Some of the instruments are inspired by middle eastern instruments in Arab levant and probably Persians too.

I think many Bangladeshi people don't know what Sarinda is but they do use the phrase " সারিন্দা বাজাইও না "(Don't Play Sarinda), proverb, meaning "Don't waste your time", "আমি কই কি, আমার সারিন্দা বাজায় কি"(What I am saying and what my Sarinda is playing ! ) proverb, meaning , "It was said something but was done something else."

The oud, originating in Mesopotamia or Persia around 3000 BCE, is one of the oldest string instruments. It gained prominence in the Arab world around the 8th century CE and influenced the European lute through Islamic Spain.
