had had the s95b and went back again. os I feel as totally confusing and jerky and the promised peakbrightness was also beautifully taken again, because samsung probably otherwise heaps of complaints must risk because of too short life of the oleds. sorry samsung but I stay with lg, are simply top TVs

The a90j is better than the c1 but the a80j doesn't have the contrast an oled should have due to its semi glossy screen. So blqcks appear raised. The a80j is only better than the c1 in terms of clarity. But depth is the same and color is more vibrant on the c1.

@@lewisevander for the 55”/65” models, I agree that the contrast can be a little better if it had the fully gloss screen. However, fully gloss screen is exclusively available on the 77” model. So either way, the A80J is still a better panel overall compared to the C1! 👍

@@stevenglenn4498 yes I'm aware the 77 inch is fully glossy but most people do not buy the 77 inch one. Also the upscaling on the c1 and sharpness on the c1 is very impressive if you keep ai picture pro on and sharpness at around 17 and set super resolution to high. Problem is most people turn these features off and that is why they think the Sony is much better at upscaling.

Bc I can clearly remember them being completely sold out from most retailers/distributors/wholesalers on Black Friday and after!!! The 65”/77” are the top sellers in the market today, especially the 65” one as they’re completely sold out and discontinued @ Costco. AI Picture Pro/Cognitive Processor XR pretty much works very similar in which there’s not much of a difference other than the fact that they’re both image processor units (IPU) w/ different brand names. Although, the A80J comes in quite harder than the C1 bc of its main processor is able to clarify every pictures to life and gives you more of a lifelike/3D visual effects. Also, not to mention, its’ contrast is way better than the C1 in which all contents are displayed a lot brighter/cleaner. The C1 like all other LG OLED’s tends to have watered down saturated colors as LG has them defaulted that way. This’s why Sony has been leading in the picture/sound aspects for quite a while now and they’re always known for making the BEST OF THE BEST picture/sound quality!

@@stevenglenn4498 I'm not sure about the 3d effect being better on the Sony as I recently saw the c2 next to an a95k and the c2 had way better depth. The Sony appeared to have a flat image and the wow effect was definitely lacking even though it is a qd oled. I didn't notice any raised blacks in the Showroom though. Where the Sony has the advantage is the upscaling and sound. Also I never said the 65 inches don't sell a lot I was only referring to the 77 inch which still sells lesser compared to the 55 and 65 inches.

I was actually planning on upgrading my 65” A80J to either a 77” or the 83” A90J back in February. However, since Sony announced their lineups for this year, I decided to hold off until I see how their 1st ever QD-OLED tv, A95K, will play out along w/ the A80K! Hopefully, 2022 will go to Sony again!!!

I already saw the Samsung S95B @ my local electronic store the other day and immediately noticed that it was a bit inferior to the Sony A80J. The A80J had a slightly better picture quality bc of its’ lifelike images and deeper colors. So I’m sorry if I happened to disappoint you by saying this, but knowing that Sony’s the best manufacturer that’s out there who’s known for making the BEST OF THE BEST pictures, there’s still a lot of hopes for your pre-order! 👍 We won’t know til next month

@@stevenglenn4498 I actually have thw a95b in house lol. I've compared it to my a90j I do this every year pretty much i get the best displays and compare. The s95b actually crushed a bit and was to deep yet really bright inn highlights and areas it needed to be. Sometimes it overbrighrns in the bright scenes though. But the colors were extremely deep and rich. I don't expect sony to do the same as Samsung as they go for more accuracy so om expecting a more accurate image while still getting a bit more pop to it. The reds greens and blues are ridiculously colorful on qd oled. But not just bright as many are showing it in native color space. Like in the store it's forced to wide color in native which will make colors neon. If you put it to the correct one which is auto it will display color more correctly and it's very very deep and rich. Def the richest colors I've rver seen on an oled which is pretty ceZy. Now depth from processing sony still wins like the overall field of view and depth on screen. But the deepness of the Samsung was shocking for it to be as bright as it was. The best word to describe it is very dense and solid. Not faded not washed not lighter just super dense image feels really full. Cameras Def don't do it justice as it always gets blown out due to its dynamic range. Cameras can't capture it. But yesh man the contrast on the s95b is ridiculously good. But it does crush sometimes even while being bright so yeshr Samsung did there thing without hurting black levels which is nice to see. Hopefully siny doesn't go the other route and make for to much shadow detail as the a90j shadow detail is perfect for my taste as is lol. Especially after all of the updates. But yeah pnly reason I'm getting the a95k is because I already tested qd oled out that's why I want it.

@@fifthgeneration3371 I actually use to own it. I ended up returning the C1 for the Sony A80J! I got a chance to calibrate both tv’s and found out that the A80J was way more superior! So laugh all you want, which seems that you’re the one that’s conspicuous of not being able to afford a better OLED tv. Looks like you’re stuck w/ a generic brand OLED tv 😆😆😆

@@stevenglenn4498 Lol wrong again, bought a Dolby Atmos sound system, Apple TV 4K which is way better than LG Web Os with better upscaling too, and have a PS5 which now supports VRR… so kinda set here 🤷‍♀️ better luck next time
