I’m thinking of buying a International 7600 dump truck with a C10 cat engine and a Eaton Ultra Shift transmission. Can you tell me how well does the Ultra shift transmissions perform off road? A lot of times when getting loaded in these dirt pits the ground is very soft and these transmissions have to be strong enough to get that dump truck out of the way after getting loaded. I see a lot of drivers bogg down in the dirt pits and going uphill. Can the ultra shift perform in that kind of situation? This will be my first truck and I would greatly appreciate your thoughts?

Man, I think I want that color code. Scratch that. I think I’ll save up for the next year and go on the hunt for a used one with a side locker. An end cab would be good too IF I can find a way to put an extra deep drawer in the top spot.

No way in hell I'd go that many miles on a oil change .we always went 10,000 miles or once a month on plain 15-40 and 15,000 miles or 45 -50 days on synthetic 10-40/15-40.Each to there own

"Don't own anything you can't operate" the second you have to depend on employee to make you money off it, the bigger the shaft you will get over the deal. Been slow for my repair shop, but keeping afloat. Sorta. Next year should be better.
