my company got a kw 880 rental over the summer i drove it for a month it had the eaton ultra shift 18 speed biggest piece of shit ive ever drove like u said it drives like a manual i didnt dare pull out in front of anyone empty or loaded it had no take off power yes they can rewrite the programming why it should be ready to go from day one ive drove twin sticks 8ll 9ll 10 speeds 13 speeds 18 speeds n allisons i like the allisons wish they had a creeper mode for millings but ive had few years experience with the allison they suck off road its kinda pick where u wanna back up n hammer down till she stops. the eaton would loose traction going up the hill in the quarry the allison wouldnt same trucks same specs ive never cared for the eaton they should stick to manuals

Got mine done on Saturday, but reused the center brackets for bottom step, pulled them off, and straightened them, was. Pretty easy to do, saved $500.00 by not buying those

Those consignment deals tend to be risky too. Dealers tend to use them or at least make them most available to their needs and customers. We had some bad experiences with a few consignment deals...they used them often. Hope everyone has a white Christmas 2024.

Always interesting. I started as a laborer on a framing crew. End of the 8 hr day , everyone went home, I stayed and learned more. Second year I was using tools, third year I was reading plans, fourth year I was running crews. Year six I went on my own and competed against the guy I was a laborer for. I found out if you work harder, longer and smarter then everyone else you’ll be successful. My clients are ultra wealthy. I look up to them for what they achieved and I’m not jealous I’m excited to be like them. My employees look at me like I don’t deserve my wealth and they all go home after 8 hrs . It’s funny.
