This was such a weird track, it felt so dreamlike and not real because it hasn‘t been remastered yet except in ds where the graphics aren‘t the best, and looks like a setup that imitates a farm

This track is kinda spooky. Something about the lighting, the lava, the sky and the music make me uncomfortable. But those are reasons I like this track.

Best racing ever, no contest, no online multiplayer, you had to play with your friends next to you on the ground or the couch. The real ones know that leap-of-faith shortcut at the beginning, put you in first for the rest of the race for sure.

the vast empty space around the course is less jarring in the N64 original than it's MKWii remaster...

Ignore all the nay-sayers and haters, Mario Kart 64's Rainbow Road is still the best tracks in this game, as well as being one of the best Rainbow Road tracks in general.

Scientists thought it would never happen, but they somehow made a fun ice level in a video game.

The first city-themed race track in the Mario Kart series. This is where the concept of racing through traffic began to be used. In Extra mode this is even more challenging.

Mario tried to be sneaky with that banana at the end, and nailed himself instead. lol

This is an amazing level, it’s tough and fun and unique, with a really cool aesthetic, and it managed to combine all of the challenges from the precious levels and dial it up a notch in order you give you an amazing challenge. It took me several tries but I loved trying to beat it, and it never felt unfair since all my mistakes were my fault. Magma Peak is the perfect conclusion to the chain of J-bomb levels on that section of the map.
