It's breathtaking. I'd urge everyone to make the effort and object to the enormous windfarm that Calderdale Council wants to allow to be plonked on the moors above Widdop which will come right down to the lip of the reservoir. Please help local residents to fight this and protect the beauty and peace of this area, for Nature and people. Feedback can be directed at Calderdale Council via their local website planning permission portal. Summer 2024 is when planning permission for the farm goes in.

Very exceptional. Outstanding filming - & all the better for not adding unneccesary noise pollution / soundtrack. The silence is as awesome as the scenery. Well done for letting nature do the speaking.

Anyone watched the Movie with Sheila Hancock.. She played the part of an 83year old widow who climbed Suilvan.. I think Sheila was actually 83 herself.. I must admit I heard that she was helicopterd onto the mountain and only walked 10mins at time on Suilvanon. Even so a Brilliant achievement for Shela Hancock. Brilliant movie!!! It's a must see!!!

Wow, climbed it many years ago. Strangest thing about it was the amazingly well built wall, that seems to have no other purpose than to baffle people as to why it was built.

I've watched it twice and didn't see the climbers half way up the ridge. At what time in the video do they appear?
@The-Great-Outdoors Жыл бұрын
Great question.... If you freeze frame at 1.35 they are in the bottom right corner. Both are near the edge below the ridge line :) I passed them both by 1.42
@redalert28345 ай бұрын
I was also puzzled. Ben Nevis - tick. Tower Ridge - tick. Scotland - tick. But why mention the almost invisible climbers in the title? Perhaps Tower Ridge via drone would have been better?

Brilliant, thanks! I’ve seen a couple of these magnificent drone “flyovers” and they still amaze me. I’ve been up the higher/larger NW peak but your wide angle lens makes the SE peak look so impressive, I’m tempted to go back for it.
