Hi there! You can connect about 45 sets of the QuadSpark 50 bulb strings together end-to-end :)

I wish they would come out with and LED warm white that actually looks the same as the old incandescent ones in both color and brightness. These LED lights are so bright and never match the old style, too white.

I have a question when you’re adding the amps per wine, would you say is 8, 12 overall, do you just simply add? Say I had .08 for 18 cords would I just multiply to get 1.4 Amps
@ChristmasEmporium
@ChristmasEmporium 3 ай бұрын
Hi there, you bet. Just add the total amperage pull together, in your example the total would be 1.44 amps. Let us know whow you like it!

I bought one of these years ago and forgot how it works... this video is pretty good explaining it. In my own situation I had some outdoor strings that didn't function any longer, and I was able to fix them using this (after I replaced the battery). The use of the clamps to remember the "known good" part of the string is particularly helpful. Also the built in tester for the LEDs is really good because you can isolate an outage to either the LED or the socket. They can currently be gotten in the US for about $22. Given that, if you find a bad socket, the "fix" is to use one of their pods... (a clever idea) which basically replaces the socket with a small resistor, so you lose one light from the string. Also, a few sockets in my strings have two wires (an in and an out) and some have 3... (one is a through splice) and the pods are a lot harder to use on sockets that have 3 wires... since you have to twist two of the wires together and then get them both to fit through a small hole in the pod... which they won't... unless you strip the wires to expose copper in the hole... and a little outside which makes them less waterproof. A little bit of some sort of sealing glop would probably help here. The two I've replaced... both had 3 wires... they were on the ends of the strings next to the power connectors. Also, if you need more than the pods supplied with the tester (I think there were 2), you have to buy new ones - a pack of 4 for $10. I was glad to be able to get an old string going last night after replacing several LEDs and a water damaged socket... but I'm not sure it was worth all the work since new strings are so inexpensive nowadays.

Not sure why you have your new videos set to kids, that way nobody can ask questions. I want to know how you close off the end of an Xmas wire string.... once you cut your length, it's exposed at the end so how do you close it off, to make it safe ? ( I would use electrical tape but there must be a more professional way of doing it ) Thank you

Put a female plug at the end so wire isn't exposed.
@1969EType
@1969EType 18 күн бұрын
You could go female connector on the end then put a male “safety cap” into it like we use to block outlets so small children don’t put their fingers in there and then since it’s an outdoor application, wrap all of that with electrical tape. You could also use a screw cap that’s normally used to join wires. Again, just screw the cap on and wrap with electrical tape.

On the 2-Light Chase Function, it freezes at the Fastest Speed, including when it does that Function in the Combination Function & that is not normal to me, as it looks like if the Manufacturers of this Product programmed the 2-Light Chase Function wrong. Do you think that it’s normal for it to do that? Like, on the Multi-Function Light Strands themselves, the 2-Light Chase Function on them works properly & does the Fastest Speed without the freezing & all.

SPT-1 (usually 20 Gauge) wire is generally used for *_indoor_* (usually C7, E12 base size) incandescent Christmas/Halloween/general household light string wire harnesses, whereas SPT-2 (usually 18 Gauge) wire is generally used for *_outdoor_* (both C7, E12 base size and C9, E17 base size) incandescent Christmas/Halloween/patio/garden light string wire harnesses - at least in Canada.

C7 and C9 LED Christmas screw-in replacement bulbs are a *_major GODSEND_* to me! This is because, if it wasn't for the existence of C7 and C9 LED Christmas screw-in replacement bulbs, I would have *_NEVER,_*_ _*_*EVER*_* be figuratively on board with LED Christmas lights *_AT ALL,_* there. This is because I *_ABSOLUTELY_*_ _*_*DESPISE*_* single-molded, pre-lamped, *_cheap,_* made-in-China LED Christmas light strings that seem to plague almost the *_*entire*_* LED Christmas light market; and therefore, I really only like *_QUALITY,_* vintage and antique, made-in-Canada and made-in-U.S.A. incandescent Christmas light string wire harnesses!!! Now, if only there were *_C6_* screw-in and *_M5 (miniature)_* screw-in and push-in LED Christmas light replacement bulbs...
@StevenVillman
@StevenVillman 4 жыл бұрын
The problem with single-molded LED Christmas light strings is that you *_*cannot*_* replace the bulbs, nor can you make obscure colour combinations [it's *_much_* too expensive to have dozens and dozens of different colour combinations (hence dozens and dozens of different LED Christmas light string SKU's *_just_* for C9 LED Christmas light strings *_*alone!)*_* in brick-and-mortar stores - and even in online shops - when it comes to LED Christmas light strings]. Therefore, when it comes to Christmas light strings with LED lights in them, I'm a thechristmaslightemporium.com/collections/led-christmas-light-bulbs-1/products/c9-blue-led-christmas-light-bulbs-smooth-transparent-pack-of-26 and a thechristmaslightemporium.com/collections/christmas-light-stringers-socket-wire-spools-and-cord-sets/products/c9-christmas-light-stringer-50-12-spacing-green-wire person!

How many amps do 25 C9 screw-in LED replacement bulbs (i.e. the ones in this product: thechristmaslightemporium.com/collections/led-christmas-light-bulbs-1/products/c9-blue-led-christmas-light-bulbs-smooth-transparent-pack-of-26 have combined, there??? [I really hope that it wouldn't be more than 1.25 amps, as I have possible plans for a light show that doesn't involve cheap, knock-off Christmas lights (i.e. non-replaceable LED Christmas lights in cheap, knock-off Christmas light string wire harnesses such as ones in where the LED bulbs are molded into the wire harnesses' "sockets", which are the ones that are overwhelmingly dominant in brick-and-mortar retail stores)!]
