What blade did you use to cut the leather and did that work?

Bonded fabric blade is EXACTLY the same as Fine point blade. The housing is a different colour (pink) so that you remember it is for fabric.

Thank you so much for sharing the good bad and the ugly. It's important to know that everything doesn't come out. Perfect the first time and occasionally you have to drop back and punt!

Ooo this is doing more for me than I expected! I'm reconditioning an old Craftsman right now. Mine is rougher than yours (my neighbor kept it for a year or two outdoors under a tarp before gifting it to me), and I just got the table casting fully stripped, with the angle stock reinforcing the wings soaking in vinegar to get the rust off and a $100 order on the way from McMaster-Carr to replace all the fasteners I touched, which were all badly rusted and were occasionally stripped. The casting and motor/drivetrain seem good, and height/bevel motions came back nicely with some Boeshield, so I'm cautiously optimistic I'll have a machine that can do decent woodworking after hanging these hundreds of dollars of parts and accessories on this $0 table saw. First project will use just a miter gauge, and the Incra one I got looks very nice. Mentally shopping for a fence system to replace what came with it, which was probably iffy when new and is a joke now. Thanks for the video!

So if you now have it in design space you can use it from there and not have to go through scanning it again and using the eraser all around again? Sorry new to Cricut and learning new things

you could have put tape on back and your rotarty blade and it would have worked

How do you get the machine to acknowledge you have changed the blade to the bonding blade ? My machine still thinks I’m using the blade it came with . I wanted to cut out some bonded velvet material . It wouldn’t give me an option . I bought the new blade , switched it over and the design site won’t show it on the process ??

Thank you of your post. This is exactly what I was thinking to use! What do you think of putting the shirt directly on the griddle w/ an iron on top. This would be instead of using a piece of wood and turning griddle over.

Mine says it is too big for mat so I save the image after I slice it and just delete that one that’s saying it doesn’t fit and cut the ones that do .. the ones that wouldn’t cut with the group cut by themselves if I make sense

i know this is an old video but now this issue is that cricut wont let me cut a plain card 8.5 x 11 why is that? how do we get arond this.
@ICanMakeThat2 жыл бұрын
Are you just trying to cut a rectangle out of paper or trying to print and cut something
@ICanMakeThat2 жыл бұрын
If it’s just cutting paper, check that you mat setting is 12 x 12. But if it is print and cut, then it just won’t cut that big. In that case I would print and cut around the image and then maybe put pop dots behind the image and layer it on my cardstock. It will be 3D and look pretty. Just a thought.

Not trying to critique, because this was a really good video! But when squaring the table and blade, you want to use the miter slots and adjust the blade via the trunnion. On the 113 Craftsman this can be a real pain in the ass! But well worth it in the end
