I don't know if you're aware but this video is really quiet. I normally listen to youtube around 40% volume but even at 100% this video isn't loud enough.

Sorry for my late response! It was on Saturday morning, therefore it was very quiet. I went for a walk in the afternoon and the streets were very busy. however, I had problems with my windscreen on the microphones, so I can't upload this other, livelier video.

Poland is a country located in Central Europe not in East Europe. It is in the East of Central Europe.
@paulsoundwalker
@paulsoundwalker Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your advice!Unfortunately, the definition is not so simple and also depends on the perspective. Geographically, Poland has alternated between Central and Eastern Europe over the last 100 years. Culturally, Poland was and still is Eastern European. So my Polish friends (and parents) also call themselves Eastern Europeans. The architecture looks also Eastern European in large parts of the country (compare buildings from the Soviet era in today's Russia). Since the cultural, thus also visual impression in Poland (style, clothes, buildings) looks Eastern European, I would remain with the current classification, in order to show also international spectators of my channel that, which is generally perceived by country and people as Eastern European. Thank you again for your comment and the legitimate discourse!

@@paulsoundwalker Sorry, but because of Russia and the 1000 years of history, no real Pole would call him/herself anything eastern. :) Some time ago we were forced to be on the eastern side of the Iron Curtain, and that is it - nothing else is eastern about Poland.
@arturdobo
@arturdobo 8 ай бұрын
@@paulsoundwalker geographically it's pure Central Europe. Regarding architecture it's modernism, not soviet/russian style and you can experience this kind of style across the whole Europe. And I wouldn't say that large parts of the country looks like that... Rather in almost every city you can see them.
@Tomek_Zyla

@@paulsoundwalkerI disagree with you. Poland was always considered as a Western civilization. The architecture is mostly medieval. The Soviet style buildings are because of the communist era. Also, clothes and fashion is the same as in Germany or France. Yes, Poland had many lands located in the east of Europe historically, but now it's definitely Central Europe.
