You're buying stuff you dont need. For example, the surge can / canister. Take a step back and consult a reputible hot rodder. The stock 370z returnless fuel lines will support 750 whp na on ls engine. Now you have a fuel pump thats way, way to big and your going to heat up your fuel. One advantage of a returnless system. Also, what looks like your oil cooler / oil filter relocation lines are crossing over to the passenger side. This is a no-go. Keep them as straight as possible to the left front tire. The battery you picked out is way too much for the car. Not needed unless you plan on running 25 laps without an alternator. The battery relocation kit is junk. Looks chromplated or stainless. Plated is bad because of anod cathode properties and will flake off and stainless is going to eventualy cause rust on the ground I.E the chassis, stick with cooper .I could go on. Nice video. I did give you a thumbs up. Not picking on you, and not being a keyboard warrior. Just see a lot of moneys spent on eye candy that could go into suspension or engine mods.

@@invasivecoyote1361 thanks for the advice and I appreciate the support! The 370z is notorious for fuel starvation on hard, sweeping right hand turns, which is why I got the surge canister. The fuel return system is a remnant from my old built motor twin turbo setup. The new pump is larger because I wanted to simplify my setup (I had 2 pumps before) and also wanted something big enough for any future power adders I may want in the future. As far as the terminals for the battery relocation, those are tin plated copper. No chrome or steel. Bare copper corrodes very quickly compared to tin plated lugs. I agree with you on the oil filter/thermostat lines though. I couldn’t find a solid place to mount it before as it was still in the building phase and I wasn’t sure where it would fit properly. I’m not a fan of where it is now for a few reasons but I’ll likely move that in a future revision. Again, I appreciate your advice on things. I’m surely not perfect, just a regular guy who likes to tinker on cars!

I’m still using the factory BCM for body control. The Haltech is basically a piggy back to the OE electronics. It took a lot of research to figure out how to make it all work. The factory ecu is still in place in order to control the start button and not break the factory CAN communications. If you break that chain, the car doesn’t like it. In the future I’ll rewire the whole car to eliminate all of the OE electronics. My biggest hurdle is the little window drop when you open the door. The drivers side turbo wasn’t draining properly which prompted me to take a closer look on things. Cylinder 1 had some light scoring which I suspect was due to a machining mistake. Others have had smoking issues with the AAM kit as well so I’m unsure if I was getting just enough blow by to disrupt proper draining or if there is an issue with the turbo kit itself. I currently have another motor being built by Dynosty and will hopefully have this thing going again in a few months.

I found the source of the leak by pulling the seat out and laying the carpet over so that I could see where the water was coming from. I fixed it by putting liquid silicone around the top of the boot on the exterior side. After doing some searching, I started to fiddle and mistakenly removed the Drivers side VVEL Control Shaft Position Sensor (the sensor on the side of the ACTUATOR ASSY-VEL with 2 10mm bolts). The dealer is stating that I have to replace the entire 23745-EY04B Actuator Assy-VEL as a result of removing the sensor and entails pulling the engine to replace the Actuator Assy-VEL. They quoted me $3000. I purchased the parts and wanted to know if I can do this myself without pulling the engine? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

If you just removed the sensor you don’t need the whole assembly. You’ll just have to reset the sensor by adjusting it to the proper voltage. But if you’re replacing the whole assembly I’m pretty sure you’d have to remove the engine. I don’t think you have enough room back there to get everything off. I might be mistaken but those bolts are pretty long.
