I like these but I don’t understand why a simple color or clear one is $600-$800 I’d rather just buy a torch set up for that and make a ghetto kiln

It’s more so the effort of the piece I think, and most artists upmark anyway. It’s a blast and I love learning to lampwork, but there’s no way I can make of of these yet. You’re essentially paying for the material, the time, and the art piece. Alternatively, you can just get mass produced china glass at like 20-80 bucks a piece. I love your enthusiasm, but the high cost is because this is hard to do

Bad ass brother! May i ask you, i have a workbench with 12 vessels and each full of various solutions of isopro, distilled h²O, and other popular things. I know about FF, but may i ask you some questions about your technique? I am by no means making anything other than a bottle with a sealed cap for myself and maybe one for Ma on her birthday, so no conflicts of interest of

Would it be possible to put a bunch of magnetic balls in the bong water so when you hit it and the magnetic balls fly everywhere in there the ferro fluid goes nuts

Filigree cane is untwisted or filament cane. It isn't twisted. Filigrana or filigree literally means straight line.

How can i keep it from sticking to the inside of my glass bottle? Don't worry I'm not making a bong, just been repeatedly hanging my head against the wall, looking for the variable that is ruining it (i got lucky once but didn't note my surfactant

What’s the purpose of this? It looks cool but like do you hit it with the fluid in there or what?
@hubbardglass5584 жыл бұрын
The fluid is trapped/ sandwiched between the glass an does NOT touch the water or smoke.
