Great video! Glad to see you guys enjoyed your stay :) Fun fact: my dad oversaw the installation of the locks on the Château’s room doors during its last major renovation (1992 or 1993). As part of the job perks, the hotel provided us with a room to stay in-and by "room," I mean the tiniest suite known to man. At least, that’s what four-year-old me thought, because upon seeing it I apparently loudly declared, "This room is smaller than the one in Jasper and doesn't have a chimney!" (We traveled a lot with my dad for work). My pint-sized critique apparently made the manager very red in the face and got him to upgrade us to a better suite. I don’t remember much from our stay, except vague memories of the pool and the boardwalk. Oh, and the chefs sneaking my brother and me into the kitchen to give us chocolate cake.

I‘m from Germany and visited Helen last year. It‘s a bavarian town. Better, it looks like a bavarian town. The funniest experience in Helen: I had to show my ID when I ordered a beer. I‘m 57 😂😂 So , it‘s not really a german town.

All the alcoholic drinks at every restaurant are separate, including the Test Kitchen. Most restaurants have an alcohol pairing menu, though!

I’m surprised to learn they had an issue with bringing in an outside drink. On our summer pass, our group often had a drink we hadn’t finished from happy hour that we carried into dinner and no one ever said anything to us. Sometimes they would even offer to pour it into a fresh glass for us. That was during the month of July, so maybe the policy changed since then? Loved this reminder off all the good food as I get excited for my next cruise in January. 🎉

@ same! We were in four back to backs out of Barcelona. If you brought your own bottle of wine to dinner they charged a cork fee but a glass of whatever we were carrying was never a problem. I can’t remember if I carried a drink into dinner on my last Caribbean cruise but I’m going again next month and will see what happens.

Hi. We are going on Virgin cruise in the next 9 days. So excited. We’ve seen all the reviews and you tube videos. So far I’m loving everything! Did you guys get to try out the rib bao buns or poke bowls? Also which was your favorite ramen flavor? What about the sushi? I’m also a coffee snob so I’m hoping I have a better experience at the grounds place.

Hi! I don't remember coming across bao buns on the Resilient Lady ship. We did try a poke bowl from Richard's Rooftop bar, and it was not very good. The sushi from that bar, and the sushi from The Galley (the grab and go/food court area) was good. We only tried the tonkotsu ramen, and I believe there were only 2 flavors available. It was OK as far a ramen goes, pretty average. I think if you like fruity coffee, you will like the coffee! I just prefer a more robust, dark flavor to my coffee. I hope you have a wonderful time!!
