I have traveled a lot through the USA, LI is a paradox, it is not conservative because of its stance on gun control but they are in segregation. It very expensive and the average homeowner is probably a millionaire but yet LI is incredibly underdeveloped despite the high taxes and high capital. There a lot of corruption, people are entitled slobs, homeowners hoard land and vote in legislation to prohibit construction of affordable housing. Kids are living with family into their 30s and people are small minded and entitled. Before the pandemic LI had high taxes but was to NYC now it is nothing special, leave as soon as possible
