Hang it the right way first you will always see those tape lines

Never mind, is your basement, that's why the window is up there. Yeah, next time, start your layout 16 on center from each corner. Usually from left to right on all walls. Remember, hang ceiling first, then walls next with a horizontal installation.😂😂😂

Sorry, after watching the video the second time, I realized the that window was installed to high. I hope you took care of that matter first!! 😜😜😜
@ManuelHernandez-ux1ow
@ManuelHernandez-ux1ow Күн бұрын
Yes, you can do that! But, start installing them horizontally, cut two pieces to size, it looks like they will reach just fine. The reason is that way you'll have cut offs that you can use in smaller places, instead of long thin strips. Go ahead and finish that room that way. In the next room, make sure you start hanging the ceiling sheetrock first, then do the wall next. The wall sheetrock will help hold the ceiling sheetrock. Now, the 16 on center or 24 on center, is layed out for the exterior material. Also, it's easier to tape your long joints horizontally, rather than using a latter. Don't worry, you're doing great!!! God bless!!😂😂😂🙏🙏🙏

Put the drywall horizontal and cut to size. It gives you more material to be sure to end on a stud.

@Factory_Edge the 90 made it work 100%, flex was nit the right decision. But I would have never known if I didn't fail first.
@demonicdonut22
@demonicdonut22 5 күн бұрын
You could use the flex if you're very careful, but picking up a $5 90 would be better. Measure twice cut once or you will be using the flex anyway. They make a crimper hand tool to recrimp the end of the duct so the 90 goes over it easily. If you don't want to buy it you can use needle nose and it will take longer but work okay . Do yourself a favor and pick up some duct sealant. Fiber reinforced in a tub is best, but they make it for a caulking gun too. Use nitrile gloves. That stuff makes some mess. Duct tape isn't as as foolproof and won't last nearly as long.

Great vid. Had the same question with the fire blocking. I ended up installing osb to the sill plate but it’s a pain in the ass compared to stuffing with rock wool

did you have to do fire blocking above the framed walls? or just the spray foam?

@CloudiiPanda great question, and I'll try to film that on the next video. I had to fireblock on the under side of the top frame. For the top I used rock wool to but up to the Frame which will lay over the foam board and over the concrete.

Yee I’ve always been curious if you can painting a fretboard & never find any videos besides staining/darkening them, how’d this project end up homie? & for stains check out unicorn spit, they make some really cool ones, & I was also thinking as far as painting a fretboard what if you did like a fretless guitar? Like just prime & paint whatever on the fret board & then epoxy resin over it to seal it, something like that could be cool, but tbh I only recently learned about fretless guitar so idk if that’d work for sure, but I can’t see why it wouldn’t

Distilled water and muriatic acid. Just be careful using this around tools or other metals, it will rust everything around it or close to it, or in the same room. I can't remember but I believe I did a 50/50 mix in glass containers

That definitely looks like the quality brand from Amazon. I ordered the cheaper Heroad black wood grain wallpaper first and I learned that you get what you pay for. The paper was extremely thin and tore easily, plus had a very dull finish. So I ordered another batch from Abyssaly and what a difference! Much thicker and had texture and a little shine to it (plus a lot easier to work with!

@mikejenofsky
@mikejenofsky 4 жыл бұрын
If your cutting on them, running a sharp staple across them, or sitting on them with metal buttons then yes it can scratch at the right angle, but for the most part its pretty strong, and extremely easy to re wrap

The only place it lifts off or peels is on the very edges where my chair hits it, im sure if I used glue on the seams it would hold. But I had extra strips and just covered them up every now and then, but the top never peeled or bubbles
