This was a good walk-through of the product. I was a little confused about what to expect with the fan and how to use that dial/button. Instructions lol I didn't feel like the instructions.

I really dislike the feel of knuckle straps. Would be nice if they made straps that wrap further back around the hand and not just knuckles.

I tried bobovr m3 and was disappointed, it is uncomfy with the top antennas and the lousy 5000mAh battery with hissing noise. I got a kkcobvr at the same time and it is comfier, has a dial to adjust the distance, and has a 10,000mAh battery with no hissing.

These battery self discharge (and it discharging the quest as well) issues make this seem like a defective or misdesigned product. DEFINITELY would not trust this to be staying on that cradle 24/7 when not in use.

I got a Quest 3 about 2 months ago. I thought the OEM strap was great that could have been better designed but then I started getting ads about BoboVR and saw the S3. Oh my word the difference. It is amazing. The battery life I found is good at least for what I do with it and ordered their new case, and extra batteries with the charging station. This is amazing.

By the way, if you don't like halo straps, you can take the S3 Pro's forehead padding out and it will basically act like a non-halo strap where the face gasket will secure it on the front. It's really stable this way, too. Additionally, the airflow from the fan will be even better without the forehead padding.

I have the M2 for Quest 2 and I love it I agree about it being bulky, But it's necessary... The headset is really heavy, and that bulkiness distributes the weight in a great way Until these things weigh like 2 grams we'll have to stick with these helmets, and I don't mind it

The velcro strap is removable, and you can flip it over and install it first on the quest and then install the head strap. Mine came installed backward also. But found The front head pad is removable, and so is the velcro strap that helps support the headset. This halo strap is awesome imo, but it is hard to install it is very tight. i am sure many people have broken the quest trying to install it . I found if i hold the quest upside down in my had and work in one side a little at a time it will slide in better, its not easy either way you try it. The new bobo vr one with the fan is a little looser when installing it.

How is the wobble on The S3? My problem with the S2 on quest 2 was the wobble. And the migraines from not having it just right. It seems so much more complicated than the kiwi SPC battery plus stand. Can you help a fan out and and recommend between these two head straps when main use case is active like shooters and beat saber? I play everything else too, but I need a headstrap that works for everything not just the relaxed experiences and that just didn't happen with Bobo quest 2

Agree all the way. Kiwi over Bobo. Because I play FPS and heavy movement apps. Bobo is excellent for less intense sessions and if your head fits to avoid the migraine.

Glad to see someone else has the same issues with the bobo strap that I had, I had another strap that was comfortable but putting headphones on top of it was a hassel. I decided to try the bobo strap and it felt extremely loose, I couldn't lean forward without feeling like it would just fall off. Ended up returning it and sticking to my original strap

Also my head only starts to hurt after 2 hours when the elite strap hurts after putting it on and really hurts after one hour and the battery for the bobo vr still had some charge after I'm finished so it does work but don't use the power supply as your only charging method charge your headset normally or get the wireless charger

@@Aide473 Everyone says the elite strap breaks but i have my quest 2 with it for over 2 years now and it still didnt break, battery has gone from 2 hours extra to 1.75 hours extra, but other then that its great and i heard the quest 3 one has thicker plastic so it wont break as quick, tomorrow i get the m3 pro for quest 3 so i'll try and see if thats better and if not i might just get the s3 or use a converter for the quest 2 elite strap and use that with it😅

@jefmoesy it has inconsistent build quality. Just one person who has one that doesn't break doesn't mean everyone's won't. If you feel it, it's made of flimsy plastic, and it still hurts. I have one it's not broken just shit.
